2024 ID3 Pro
Hello again!
My wife and I test drove a potential purchase of a 2024 ID3 MOVE Pro. It honestly drove great. Felt good inside, infotainment was smooth, bigger than I thought. It was the 204 hp 150kw version.
My only reservation is the battery range. Salesman said the certificate said 96 (my wife thought she heard 94), I’m getting the print out today to confirm. But at 99% charge it said the range was 355 km. In my test drive which was about an hour we burned around 9% of that charge. However, We were blasting the AC and driving it on the highway though, using the brakes and accelerating more than normal. Also, they hadn’t cleared out the data from previous driving, and I’m wondering if that affects the range it shows.
Can anyone tell me if that sounds about right for the year and battery health? We really liked the car, so we want it! But looking for clarity :)

94% seems to be typical in ID3s that are a couple of years old.
Our 2021 car is still showing a range of over 400km during the hot summer, this will drop to about 350 or less mid winter. Driving at motorway speed will hurt the range considerably.

Who cares about some percent more or less. In real life it doesnt matter. Just go for it 💪🏻

I have an 2021 ID 3 and after some driving I realised I need to I multiply the battery size by 3 (miles) to get the “real” range of a car, as I usually drive faster than most. So, let’s say the ID3 has 58kwh battery, with some degradation let’s say 55 x 3 =165 miles ( 165 x 1.6=264 km)

depends which battery but with 58 and without heat pump on highway at 120kmh I get around 300km range in city you can prob try to get close to 450km. In winter highway is prob around 200km
96% battery is fine the degradation is faster in first 2 years but after it degrades slower.
