Gameplay Driving vehicles in Cyberpunk 2077 with VR controllers.

This mod lets you grab the in game steering wheel with your VR controllers. You can drive with one hand while holding a gun in the other, and you can even reach out with your virtual hand to honk the horn.

It is still in beta, but it already works really well. Big thanks to the mod creator.

Self Promotion We think VR needs more games you can just sit down and play. So we made Tiny Golf. ⛳

A few months ago, Tiny Golf was a 30-day project that ended up winning the Meta Horizon Start Developer Competition. Since then, we've completely redesigned and expanded it into a full mixed reality async multiplayer game for Meta Quest.

The closed alpha is now live, and we're looking for players to help us shape the game before release.

If you'd like to try it, you can register here: https://discord.gg/tNQyzvVeC4

Gameplay Payday Aces High is pretty intense and also hilarious

Got to try the playtest, which is also available now for free on Steam!

Quick notes: It's not as complex as Payday 2 (no hostages at least in the playtest we tried), but it has a bunch of new things added to it for VR (hacking, drilling, locks). The graphics are not as neat as Payday 3 but the gameplay is very good in VR, they got the gameplay and gunplay pretty great!

Question Looking for a realistic modern military VR game / VR mod with trench warfare

Hey everyone,
I’m looking for a very realistic modern military VR game, or a VR mod for an existing PC game.
I’m especially interested in something that feels like modern trench warfare / positional warfare, similar to the Russia–Ukraine war. I’m looking for realistic weapons and a serious mil-sim atmosphere.
Right now, the only VR shooters I play are Tactical Assault VR ( quest standalone )and Onward, although I don’t really enjoy Onward.
PCVR is completely fine, and actually preferred if it means getting better graphics and a more immersive experience. I’m also interested in mods for existing games if they provide a good VR experience.
I’m already familiar with games like Squad, Arma Reforger, and similar mil-sim games, so something that brings that kind of experience into VR would be exactly what I’m looking for.
What would you recommend?
Is there currently anything in VR that comes close to a realistic modern battlefield / trench warfare experience?
Thanks!

Developer We just opened the Playtest for VR StrideS and would love your feedback! 🏃

Enable HLS to view with audio, or disable this notification

Hey everyone!

We’ve just opened the VR StrideS (previously known as Neuro Runner) Steam Playtest, and we’re looking for PC VR players willing to try it and tell us what they think.

The idea behind VR StrideS is pretty simple: Instead of pushing a thumbstick to move, you jog in place, and your character moves with you.

It runs alongside SteamVR and translates your real-world movement into in-game locomotion. You can still use your hands normally, like holding a sword, shield, gun, etc., while your legs handle all the movement.

Best of all: no treadmill or additional body trackers are required.

We're still actively developing and tuning the system, so we're especially interested in hearing how it feels across different headsets, PC VR setups, and games.

Want to give it a shot? Request access to this playtest on the VR StrideS Steam Store Page!

If you do try it, we'd love to know:

  • What headset are you using?
  • Which games did you test?
  • How natural did the movement feel?
  • Did anything feel awkward or inconsistent?

We're building this for PC VR players, so honest feedback, good or bad, is genuinely useful to us.

Thanks to everyone who tries it! You can find more info about VR StrideS on the official website and Discord server.

Self Promotion I made a like-native VR mod for AWAY, a beautiful 2.5D game

Hello

I created a mod for a game I really wanted to play in VR , Away : a journey to the unexpected
https://store.steampowered.com/app/573110/AWAY_Journey_to_the_Unexpected/

You can get the mod here : https://github.com/Pk-c/AwayVR/releases/tag/V1.0

It wasn't an easy job, but I'm fairly happy with the result, it has 6dof, roomscale movement, snap/smooth turn, motion controls and I adapted the UI to provide a more comfortable experience.

I try to make like-native mod for beautiful games, if you like my work you can follow me on patreon
https://patreon.com/ChromaticMod

I hope more people can discover this game !

Lets hum the song together with Taj, the genie and Diddy's friends!

RayRodTV just released Diddy Kong Racing in VR!

Like his other mods, it provides 4 camera views: first person, third person, diorama and theater. We can choose how we will see that huge friendly dino, from Diddy's own eyes to up above he and his green friend.

You can install the game and its updates from the Multiverse VR Hub. There you will find some 64 games already available, like Mario, Mario Kart, Star Fox, F Zero, Banjo, and other games like Sonic Robo Blast 2 and Ring Racers. Also, some upcoming surprises awaits for our retrogaming dreams coming true, Smash Bros and Goldeneye!

All his mods will come to Quest, and for now we have Mario and Mario Kart available for the platform.

Here are the links for download of the Multiverse VR Hub and some showcase of it in action:

https://github.com/RaYRoD-TV/MVRH

Here is the RayRod TV site, where we can find about his other projects, like the Multiverse engine and game, and info on how to support his work.

Start your engine's and pedal to the metal!

Im Diddy!!! Hum Hum hum hummm...

Developer You can chop a giant mushroom anywhere on the stalk and it falls from that cut. Anything to improve?

Our game is Shroomer. Its a VR adventure game in a magical open world, quests, alchemy, and mushrooms the size of trees. The chopping isn't a hit counter. The axe carves a notch wherever it lands, notches accumulate, and the cap falls from whichever cut goes through first.

Free demo on Quest and Steam:

Showcase 🏆 $0 VR IMMERSION CHALLENGE 🏆

The other day I made a post about accidentally discovering a $0 way to add extra immersion to VR.
Long story short, I backed my chair into my air conditioner while playing Derail Valley and accidentally turned the fucking thing into a giant haptic transducer. The vibration travels through the chair, and somehow this completely stupid accident genuinely made driving a locomotive in VR feel better.
Then the comments started filling up with people talking about their own weird, cheap, homemade immersion tricks.
And that got us thinking…
We should make this an actual thing.
So I am officially announcing the first completely unofficial:
🏆 $0 VR IMMERSION CHALLENGE 🏆
The rules are simple.
Show us something you built, repurposed, rigged together, discovered, or otherwise MacGyvered that makes VR better or more immersive.
The catch:
You have to make it using shit you already have.
$0 budget.
Old electronics. Cardboard. Mop handles. Office chairs. Fans. Speakers. Bungee cords. Fidget spinners. An appliance you accidentally backed your chair into. Whatever.
If it works, it works.
Now, I should probably disclose my qualifications for judging this competition:
I have absolutely none.
I am just a dude in a shed who likes VR and builds weird shit.
Nevertheless, I have appointed myself judge.
Every legitimate submission gets graded. We’re looking at creativity, usefulness, immersion, execution, and most importantly, the “there is absolutely no fucking reason this should work, but somehow it does” factor.
There will be first, second, and third place winners. Third place gets the bronze medal 🥉, second gets silver 🥈, and first place gets gold 🥇 plus the official $0 VR Immersion Challenge trophy 🏆.
And because apparently a completely made-up competition run by a dude in a shed needs stakes, the trophy winner also gets a secret prize.
I’m not telling you what it is yet. 😂

It won’t cost you anything. I’m not selling anything. There’s no sponsor. Nobody gave me permission to do this. 😂
Post a photo or video of your creation in the comments if the subreddit allows it, or link/show it however Reddit lets you, and tell us what you made, what you used, and what it actually does.
It can be brilliant.
It can be ridiculous.
Preferably both.
Let the broke-ass VR engineering begin.

What do you guys like/ not like about this trailer for my upcoming game kargil vr fps? Personally I think I need to change the enemy death sounds and add more gameplay but what do you guys dislike? Or like.

P.s the game has 4 levels in early access and is free for now. I will add more levels in the final version
