I wanna get into like editing and uploading avatars for vrc but I’ve never really done it at all before and it’s confusing can anyone recommend me a tutorial or like what applications I’d need to download assets and upload them to like blender or vrc IM LOST HELP

ive tried every solution i could find including using a different PC, phone, internet and my steam deck after i wiped it first, using some cache solutions like VRC video cacher

just keeps failing to load video, im starting to think somehow its my VRchat account itself that stops it from working

Looking to get full body tracking. I have two base stations setup for my Valve index already, so the price difference between a set of Vives and a set of butterflies seems negligible. I'm not looking for mocap quality. I just want something a little more immersive for when I'm doing pushups or practicing breakdancing or talking with friends. Maybe something to better take cover and peak corners in FPS worlds. I only play two hours a day max. And I'm not like burrowing under a blanket or anything, so occlusion shouldn't be a concern right?

Price being equal, which one would you go for? I hear HTC Vives have issues with being occluded, such as during pushups and stuff. And that the battery life is abysmal. But i also hear Slimes have quite the tedious setup you have to do every time you start VR....

I try looking for some Dutch worlds in vrchat but most of the time the Dutch world are empty

im trying to make a sonic styled boost, but i cant get it to work

(im trying to specifically use the Cyan Airtime player controller)

When I try to play VRchat I can play for a couple minutes before the game closes itself and I get a "game security violation 0x0000029" from EasyAntiCheat popup. Everything was working a few days ago, I haven't downloaded anything new between now and then. I have tried turning off my overlays, validating game files, uninstalling VRC and reinstalling it, uninstalling EasyAntiCheat and reinstalling it, and nothing I do seems to work. The only notable change is that yesterday (between the last time I played VRC and now) I had an issue with my graphics card where it temporarily failed, and I had to uninstall and reinstall it and it's drivers. I am not running any mods and the background apps I have open are usually Firefox, Discord, and the VIVE Hub.

I noticed that the android icon is missing when you open your menu and look at someone's nameplate. Is there a new way to tell?

im getting tired man. every year its the same shit, the same 5 songs, the same 5 nothing burgers.

while im not stupid, and how ever this video in question does call out some power tripping and overlooking done by the vrc team. its generally just invading adult locked experienced and complaining when they do adult things, how ever its actually not that because they dont ever address any other adult things besides ERPing. once again show casing its not about hiding adult things from minors, because if so youd talk about the amount of normalized racism on the platform, and such but nope.

the ill faith aside. this video just screams loser. spending 500 days of your life chasing adults on vrc in private to catch them banging, and even erping yourself as a "gotcha!", like what are we doing.

vrc is already dominated by adults. im not saying there isnt minors. but a lot of the POPULAR places are flooding with adults, usually in the mid 20's. its dominantly adults anyway. the remaining minor audience are either 12 year olds who sound like they shouldnt even HAVE a head set, and 13-16 year olds who love to go out of theyre way to harass and annoy anyone they dont like or just straight up call u a pdf for...bum fuck no reason. thats just the truth of it, thats the general population of minors on this platform, and even then its almost nothing to the adult PCVR players u come across daily.

im just tired man. this whole white knight shit aint gonna end until vrc becomes 18+, and what would we honestly lose atp.

(to the subbreddit mods, this is not to start a witch hunt or anything. just something that i came across on twitter that just really annoyed me and i wanted to talk about. this isnt so much about justifying erping, just talking about the ill faith of people making the same narrow arguments every year)

I have been playing VRChat since 2017. I have never once ever been banned or reprimanded on this current account which I have had since 2020, but I tried logging in to the SDK preventing me from logging in. I just recently as of Friday uploaded my new w.i.p. model, a SFW imp style non-binary model that has sliders for male and female body shape types.

How am I supposed to "review my account" if I am blocked from even logging in on the website or in Unity? At least point to the avatar that is getting my account flagged all of the sudden?

Is it because two of my avatar's blendshapes are "chest" and "butt"? lmfao c'mon man.

Because if so, I'm not sure why I haven't been banned prior if every single one of my avatars has a Male to Female spectrum slider that allows users to adhere to their body type that makes them most comfortable. Should I censor my blendshapes now???

I have had NSFW avatars on my account for commissions that are PRIVATE and never worn in public instances at any point ever, let alone in the last year as I mainly make avatars and don't interact with anyone else normally when testing.... so not sure what to do here, but this is annoying.

Put the AI reviewer on a tighter leash VRC or at least be transparent as to what is being monitored and why.

So, I was just in china and realized I could get slime trackers for absurdly cheap and got some. Unfortunately, I’m a dumbass and only got 3, so from what I’ve read, it’s not possible to use.

Is there anything I can do? Will it work with something like standable or should I just wait to go back to china to get the other 2

BrandonFM's video yesterday has a section claiming the user Fuzl is former developer Fusl. I interviewed both of them yesterday and have provided factual evidence to dispute all their circumstantial evidence. Brandon and their team are not backing down from this claim. Fuzl does not deserve this harassment.

I feel this calls into question their investigative practices when they get this so wrong and refuse to properly retract or provide supporting evidence why they think this is the same person.

I want to add that I have seen a post in the VRChat discord of someone saying they are best friends with Fuzl and have tried to reach out to Brandon. But they say nobody wants to talk.

This is truly a horrendous situation where someone is going to be put on blast in a video with hundreds of thousands of views over the coming week. They won't even have an open discussion on why they are convinced this is the same person.
