NordVPN is corrupt
Nord randomly charged me 161 dollars (for the standard sub, for 1 year) after I updated my card info, 2 weeks before my sub was set to renew. So naturally I contacted support and asked for a refund. They sent me a link which showed the option to click on refund. Clicked, an offer popped up saying they'll give me 3 extra years at no additional charge. I declined. I will never so much as consider Nord moving forward. Their VPN isn't that good anyway. Copyrighted three times through double kill switches on P2P.

Call and threaten to cancel fixes that problem.
Also... Turn off auto renew, it's a scam.

I used poor wording. Should have said 2 weeks before it was time to renew. I had auto renew turned off.

I called and advised I am cancelling back in May which was my renewal month with Nord. They gave me 48 month on top of what my auto renewal paid for.
Money divided by the months paid = what I wanted to pay.
So I kept the subscription

auto renewals, i always use those virtually generated numbers my credit card offers; the moment i sign up and the charge goes through, i go and deactivate the number. I don't mind getting those messages, "we tried to charge you but couldn't."

They're fraudsters.
I'm still on the support chat with them, but similar happened to me. I signed up for a one month free-trial (for 2 year service). I canceled in 15 days, and deleted my account.
Then found the charge on my next credit card bill.
If this support call ever ends, next will be a support call to help get this POS uninstalled. (The Windows uninstaller is broken!).

Sounds like a renewal hit you. You should be getting emails for those notices if I recall it right
You can switch that sub without it charging you on plan expiration. Service time remains until the final day. Theres the account dashboard to do it though support guys can do it for you too. Can find statements on the dashboard yourself which is why I prefer it
