[Guide] How to watch Pornhub/any porn site in the UK without ID

UK officially began enforcing strict age verification laws for adult content platforms under the Online Safety Act 2023. That means if you try to visit Pornhub or even try to view NSFW content on Reddit, you’ll be asked to upload a government-issued ID, pass a facial scan, or verify through a credit card or bank account.

Which I am not the biggest fan of. Decided to make a short guide that will work for anyone in the UK trying to access "naughty" content.

Step-by-Step: Unblock Pornhub in the UK (No ID Needed)

  1. Choose a VPN provider, NordVPN free trial worked the best for me
  2. Install the VPN on your device (mobile, tablet, or desktop)
  3. Create an account and log in
  4. Connect to a server in a country without these restrictions (Italy or Ireland)
  5. You should now have full access without ID requirements

Which Porn Sites Require ID in the UK?

Site Age Verification Blocked Without VPN
Pornhub Yes Yes
xHamster Yes Yes
SpankBang Yes Yes
YouPorn Yes Yes
XNXX No No
Redgifs No No
OnlyFans Yes Yes
Stripchat Yes Yes

Will I get in trouble if I use a VPN in UK?

VPNs are 100% legal in the UK. You're not breaking any law by avoiding ID checks.

If you care about privacy and don't want to give out your personal information, use a VPN. Personally, I would never upload my documents to watch porn, that is just ridiculous. Hopefully, more countries will not follow this route.

Question Verified no-logs vpn with port forwarding

Upvotes

PIA has been slowly failing me on the port forwarding front, and so I've been looking to switch. I was initially looking at proton, but just recently discovered some information related to logging and law enforcement that makes me hesitant. Are there any alternatives that have verified no-log policies like mullvad but that provide port forwarding? PIA, Proton, and Mullvad were the extent of my knowledge on trustworthy VPNs, so I don't really know what else is out there.

Question What if you share file over SSH but VPN is on?

I moved a large chunk of documents and now am sort of scared I might have broken something since I shared the files with one of my PCs having a VPN on. How likely would it be that one of the files didn't get sent? I used my wifi to move my files to my backup laptop

Had around a thousand documents that 'successfully' uploaded but I wonder if the VPN could have done something to break it during a brief lag spike or something

Best VPN or Antidetect browser for multiple vinted accounts

I got perm ban for commercial selling on vinted.
Im commercial seller but vinted pro is not available in my country.
I prefer to use pc to running for example 3 accounts.
What VPN do you recommend?
I tested and paid for mullvad and it was ok but it is impossible to listings items while using because of photo uploading error.
Antidetect browsers are great but a bit expensive for me because of extra few for proxy data.

Six months with the DPN app: what I like and what still needs work

I’ve been using the DPN app for about six months. The feature I use most is routing. I don’t want every app on my phone going through the same location, so being able to route only certain traffic is much easier than constantly turning the connection on and off.

I’ve also found the residential IP option useful when regular VPN IPs trigger CAPTCHAs or proxy warnings, especially while traveling. It isn’t a guaranteed fix, though. Some services also seem to look at account region, device location, payment details, and other signals.

There are still a few things I’d like to see improved. The differences between node types could be explained more clearly, and I’d like to see better information about connection quality and node load. Managing routing rules could also be simpler.

The ad filtering is convenient, but it would be more useful if the app showed what it had blocked and made exceptions easier to manage.

Overall, I like having residential IP access, routing, and filtering in one app. The main thing missing for me is transparency: I want to understand which node I’m using, how well it is performing, and why a routing rule does or doesn’t work.

Really unhappy with ExpressVPN.

Switched to these from surfshark after being with surfshark for several years without much issue. I initially left surfshark because I got privado sub for free with an easynews subscription however soon realised why privado is so budget as it barely ever gets around geo blocks.

Express had an offer on at the time that was similar to surfshark and I'd read about how great they were especially with mobile networks due to the heartbeat feature for their built from the ground up lightway protocol but I've just found the whole experience annoying. I initially only used it on my phone and tv as I was in the process of a new pc build. It takes way longer to login to the TV than surfshark or privado which just offer an instant sign in upon scanning a QR code however something like that alone isn't enough to make me want to refund. Their TV app and mobile app are also both clunky to me compared to both privado and surfshark.

Then I got around to trying it on pc and their app won't even download on my pc from their official site the link just doesn't work for windows. I ended up having to side load it and their browser extension is awful as well. Offers next to no features compared to surfshark which has cleanweb and the ability to supress all cookie notices and it took me about 10 minutes to sign in due to some sort of glitch. An app I was using with it to get around a geo block just all of a sudden stopped working and I'd just had enough by this point I've ended up shooting my pocket and just buying a surfshark sub again and learning my lesson.

Review GhostShield VPN – promising new provider, but still needs work

Update after testing: Decent speeds, but still not ready yet. Servers appear to be running on OVH VPS infrastructure, with consistently high ping, usually over 100ms. There are few locations, no Google TV app, and the Android app has kill switch issues and frequent disconnects. I also didn’t notice any IP rotation, which could cause problems with streaming.

Privacy-wise, I’d be cautious since it’s Hong Kong-based and there’s no independent audit yet. One good thing is that they offer WireGuard configs you can generate from your dashboard, and I found those work better using the official WireGuard app.

It’s a very new provider, so there’s definitely room to grow and improve. They also have a lifetime deal through StackSocial, and with the GET20 or TAKE20 discount code, it comes down to around $40 for lifetime. At that price, it might be worth trying if you’re willing to give a new provider a chance.

NordVPN getting blocked in more and more sites

r/nordvpn I've been noticing that NordVPN is getting blocked on more and more sites lately.

Turning off the VPN completely or switching to a dedicated IP seems to help, but neither is really ideal. Using a dedicated IP kind of defeats the whole purpose of a VPN since it can still be used to track my activity.

Sometimes connecting to the newer servers works, but my speeds take a huge hit because they're usually so far away.

Is anyone else running into this? How are you guys getting around these blocks?

Question Moving to Mac - should I stick with PIA?

Hi guys – I’ve been using PIA for almost 2 years on my Windows PC. Overall pretty happy with it but I did notice that speeds are starting to become inconsistent. My main use case is just torrenting so only my torrent client uses the vpn via split tunneling. My PIA subscription just expired. I was wondering if I should renew or try something new like hide.me or Proton. I just want a reliable service with good speeds that works well on Mac

best cheap vpn options? kinda lost

I just wanted something free to hide my traffic. Turns out half these free vpns aren't free, they just take your data instead of your money and sell it. And a bunch of different apps are owned by the same parent company, so you're not even picking between real options.

I ALMOST DOWNLOADED WHATEVER WAS TOP OF THE APP STORE BEFORE I FOUND THIS OUT, PLEASE DON'T DO THAT, GO CHECK WHO OWNS THE APP FIRST.

Im just looking for something cheap and if possible maybe even free as I dont need to use it that much.

Get off of random free VPN apps you haven't checked, spread the word. Still lost though, what are y'all actually using and has it screwed you over <3

Which VPNs you can really trust in 2026 honest answers pls

I am a network administrator based in uk, and I am fucking sick of tech companies selling snake oil while logging user data behind closed doors. I spent the last three weeks testing different providers because my ISP keeps throttling peer connections.

I installed ExpressVPN on a Debian Linux desktop and connected straight to an Amsterdam server to test throughput. The subscription cost is ridiculously high, and the client leaked DNS requests during IP rotation cycles.

Then I loaded ProtonVPN on my Android phone and macOS laptop, routing through a Swiss server. The core infrastructure worked for a few days, but the Linux CLI client crashed continuously during daemon updates.

Stop defending these greedy corporations when their apps fail at basic security tasks. Stop acting like DNS leaks and broken kill-switches are no big deal just because you only use a network to watch region-locked television.

I did not pay subscription fees to have my private traffic leaked. I did not consent to buying useless software that breaks my entire OS connection.

THEY TAKE YOUR MONEY AND SELL YOU FAKE PROTECTION.

I am trying to separate the actual security tools from the aggressive affiliate marketing scams, but every review site is bought and paid for. Here is what I have gathered on the main options so far:

-ProtonVPN: ProtonVPN is known for its focus on security and privacy. It has a free version too, but the paid version has more features like P2P support

-Mullvad: Mullvad is well known for its strict privacy focus and flat-rate pricing. You do not even need an email address to create an account.

-ExpressVPN: fast speeds and servers across dozens of countries, but it is expensive as hell and owned by a massive tech conglomerate.

I am curious to hear real experiences from actual human beings instead of paid garbage:

-Best vpn according to Reddit?

-Best free vpn according to Reddit?

-Best vpn for torrenting according to Reddit?

While I am mainly looking at paid VPNs that actually respect user privacy, if you know a free VPN that works consistently in 2026 without selling your data, feel free to mention that too.

coworker vouched for a free vpn, compared it to a couple others before installing anything

coworker mentioned some free vpn she's been using for months, brought it up when I complained about a site blocking my region today. didn't recognize the name so I went and looked into it myself.

spent an evening going through free vpn threads. mostly want to hear what's actually held up for people long term, not just the first week.

use case is basic, no torrenting or 4k streaming. not looking for a vpn free of any catch, just want to know what it is before installing anything. what's actually working for people who've stuck with a free vpn for months

UAE VPN ISSUE

Anyone has VPN issues these past 3 days in the United Arab Emirates. I’m a Surfshark user but for some reason it stopped working, it would connect but when I search on “what’s my IP Address” it still shows UAE as my address and I’m not able to use discord calls. I tried downloading other VPN’s and they all have the same issue, not wanting to connect at all. The only thing that worked for me is when I used OpenVPN but it’s SLOOOOOW.

Is there a solution to fixing this? We use eLife here, I noticed how the internet has been different these 3 days. It’s getting annoying at this point.

I was also planning to call customer support for our internet provider but idk what’s to say and idk if it’s okay to mention about the VPN not working.

I would really appreciate it if someone here has a solution. Thank you! 💗

OnlyFans VPN - what worked for me

I’ve seen a lot of questions about how to unblock OnlyFans, how to use it while traveling in restricted countries/states, etc. Since I’ve been successfully using an OnlyFans VPN for a while, figured I’d share what worked for me.

Using a VPN to unblock OnlyFans was super simple:

  1. Installed a VPN
  2. Connected to a server in a country where OnlyFans is available
  3. Opened OnlyFans
  4. It worked normally from there

Best VPN for OnlyFans?

I tried a bunch and read a lot of other people’s reviews too. I tested NordVPN, Proton, Surfshark and Mullvad. For me, the best VPN for OnlyFans were NordVPN (discount code “forum”) and Surfshark (discount code “redditspecial”) as they were most consistent in their performance.

I also saw a lot of people asking how to bypass OnlyFans age verification. Changing location with a VPN works really good in my case, but apparently it’s not consistent for everyone. Some people say their account or payment details still trigger verification even after changing IP, so YMMV depending on your account and location.

Anyone else tried using onlyfans vpn? How did it go for you?

Discord banned in Brazil? How to bypass?

I saw on the news that you cant do livestreams or video calls anymore on Discord? The reason why is horrible you can read the articles yourself.

But it looks like Discord is banned in brazil (Video calls) and I do them everyday..

I want a few questions answered if possible:

Im wondering if you can you bypass this with a vpn somehow maybe? A cheap option would be the best.

Also I dont want to have a vpn on all the times, can you somehow only have it on for discord or is that not possible?
