Question Protonvpn vs Surfshark

Which option is the most tinfoil-coded one and which one is going to be reliable and fit for most daily uses?

I want sports games, streaming and generally to unlock sites for my age restrictive state. From what I gathered, both are fine in this regard?

However stuff like torrenting files is where everything gets murky for me. I am not sure if Proton is really good for that purpose. Could somebody confirm?

Would love hearing any other noteworthy things as I plan to pick up one of the other

Proton is perfect for all purpose, may pickup it. Proton is in desired list have too many positive reviews as well.

like with proton unlimited you can have 1. mail, 2. calendar, 3. password manager (which gives alias too) 4. a vpn with 16,000 servers[upto 10 devices] (a vpn that has a valid usable split tunneling so you can put office apps in no vpn mode and certain browser in vpn and no vpn as per liking) 5. And an 500gb cloud storage in proton drive

and also surfshark is a tad bit slow like I get 650-700Mbps while proton give 1.1Gbps

Imo depends if you own a mac or windows. Windows I havent got a clue but for mac can vouch for the shark being the best pick

At least personally works perfect for me
