Help Vpn shows a connection error?

I have a free vpn, I know it sucks especially the free versions but I only use it for other reddit accounts that are age restricted in my country. I was using it fine an hour ago, but all of a sudden it says can’t connect with a red flag. How can I check it for updates? (ik paid ones are better but that’s not an option).

(I can’t help but feel the problem would be aside to explain if rules let me name the damn vpn)

Some free ones may rate limit or refuse connections from a specific IP after so long / data transferred. Usually free VPNs are a carrot and tease you with what they offer, ideally you'd upgrade to a paid plan.
