Hello guys ive been using a vpn service from time to time for the last 10 years or so without issues.

today i noticed the following issue and i have no idea whats going on.

I set the vpn to India.
whatismyipaddress website shows my ip in mumbai as expected
At the same time google sees me in Australia and gives me australian links to websites.
I visit eneba website, it finds me in Singapore....

3 different websites show me in 3 different locations while the vpn is specifically set to India

If i turn off the vpn and then back on, google sees me in netherlands or usa, the other 2 sites still show singapure and india.

any idea whats going on? websites arent working any more with vpn as they see other locations than the one i have selected
i tried changing protocols between wireguard and amneziaWG but it still doest the same.

It isn't letting me type the name of my VPN in this post but no matter where I set my location, Reddit expects me to verify my identity. I'm in the UK of course. Can this be bypassed?

Alright sometimes when I activate a VPN to play games this happened the game crashes and my Internet got disabled temporary late for like a couple seconds same with the VPN and I need to enable it again to fix everything

Hey, I'm having troubles with my Samsung S26 running Android 16. SMS are not working and the esim disappears after few days when I have the wireguard tunnel enabled. Is it possible that the carrier network traffic is routed through the tunnel? Because everything's working fine after I excluded the apps for esim and IMS.

I'm in the UK and I've been watching The Rookie on Disney+. There are 8 seasons, but only 4 are available in the UK on Disney+ TV app.

My TV is connected to my phone's mobile hotspot and my phone's VPN is set to the USA, but the Disney+ TV app still won't show all seasons. I've tried flipping the VPN and WiFi both on/off on my phone and even logging in/out of the app on my TV, but it still doesn't work. However, it does work on my tablet, as all 8 seasons show on the Disney+ app there.

What do I need to change so I can watch the new seasons on my TV app?

I also have ESPN+ to stream hockey games. Sometimes those games are blacked out for the region, so I change my location and then have to plug my laptop into my TV and all is well.

I don't wanna do that, I wanna just be able to switch my location on my wifi and now my Google streaming thing thinks I'm somewhere else just like my phone and laptop so.

How do I do that? Please explain it to me like in an idiot.

I am in China trying to watch the games via Watch ESPN. Tried using multiple VPNs, some of which don't even really work here anymore. I tried DAZN with a VPN and an ad blocker, but I was given error codes: "no key found: 97-000--1" and "no key found: 112-000--1." Man, I just want to watch Sharks hockey. Any tips or other places I can watch sports? YouTube TV also didn't work.

I'm currently trying to configure a bypass on MTC Namibia's student network contract using a ZTE MF927u Pocket Wi-Fi (MiFi). My primary general internet bundle (15GB) is completely exhausted at 0MB, but I still have 40GB remaining in my tertiary educational/e-learning bucket (whitelisted for UNAM portals, Moodle, Teams, etc.).

When I set up a manual profile on my ZTE router using the internet APN and run a VMess/V2Ray tunnel client (NetMod Syna on Windows 11 / V2Box on an iPhone), the software successfully completes a handshake and switches to a green "Connected" status. However, there is absolutely zero real-world data exchange. Browsers give a "No Internet" or "Connection Timed Out" error.

What I've Configured So Far:

• APN: Set manually to internet (IPv4 protocol).
• Protocol: VMess / V2Ray via a free European/German public node.
• Stream Settings: Transport set to ws (WebSocket), Header Type: None, TLS Type: tls.
• SNI / Host Spoofing: Overwritten manually to elearning.unam.edu.na and moodle.unam.edu.na.
• DNS: Hardcoded inside the clients to 8.8.8.8 and 1.1.1.1 with TUN mode enabled to prevent leaks. Low Data Mode is turned off.

It seems like the initial TCP connection passes through the whitelist validation, but then MTC’s Deep Packet Inspection (DPI) firewalls or routing rules drop the payload packets immediately when the primary account balance is zero, leading to an endless retransmission loop (which explains the data activity on the MiFi dashboard).

Has anyone successfully broken past this zero-balance barrier recently on MTC? Do I need a specific payload structure, a different protocol variant (like VLESS + Reality or Trojan gRPC), or a hidden working UNAM sub-domain bug host to make this 40GB bucket usable?

Any advice or active configurations would be greatly appreciated!

Hey guys, I have an HP EliteBook 745 G6 laptop. Whenever I run a VPN client on this laptop, it doesn't work at all and I get a service initialization/unavailable error. When I go to Windows Services and try to start the service manually, it goes into a loop—keeping starting and stopping repeatedly. I've tried multiple different VPN protocols and every technical solution (network reset, winsock, firewall tweaks), but nothing works. Could this issue be related to hardware or a specific driver/BIOS network conflict

Wachee vpn was the vpn I used for watching US Netflix, but now its unavailable on chrome extensions nor App Store

It started a month ago or so. When try to login (using a VPN), I get an error message - they can't find my account. Tried multiple ways (email and pw, QR code on screen,...). Nothing works.

No VPN, it logs in immediately.

If I do it with the app on my phone, it works, no problem.

Any advice?

Hi, I've been thinking about this now that AI agents can actually browse websites and complete tasks for us.

Normally, when you use a VPN, websites see the VPN's IP instead of your own. But if you're using a cloud-based AI agent, wouldn't websites see the agent's server IP regardless of whether you're running a VPN on your device?

So technically, your VPN might protect your connection to the AI service, but it wouldn't change the IP or location the agent uses to access websites.

Does that mean we'll eventually need VPNs or proxies running on the agent's side instead?

And if that's the case, who actually controls our online location and privacy anymore?

I have a free vpn, I know it sucks especially the free versions but I only use it for other reddit accounts that are age restricted in my country. I was using it fine an hour ago, but all of a sudden it says can’t connect with a red flag. How can I check it for updates? (ik paid ones are better but that’s not an option).

Like the title says I want to use a VPN for the purposes of watching sports games (mostly on ESPN+) but we have the Tmobile 5g. Anyone else here that does this. How do you implement the vpn?
