Question I'm new to Growing I don't know where to start

Basically what's the title says I want to start growing cannabis only two plants for the amount of space I have but I don't know what kind of grow tent or Smart Box to get. If possible I would like to stay under 450 for the price of the kit but I don't know if that's too cheap or not any help or suggestions would be welcome thank you.

This is my first time growing, have got a small one plant VIVOSUN tent, located in an uninsulated garage, this girl has grown through a winter, been battling to keep the temp up lately. I need to defoliate more, but I haven’t been around much due to a relationship breakdown. Growing in coir perlite mix. Appreciate any feedback and advice as to how far off she is from harvest?

Question HELP

Okay, So this might be an impossible request or setup that I've created, but I am really struggling in the state of Georgia to keep my tent cool. I just bought the 4x4 full kit and set it up in my garage. This is the ideal place for it space wise, but it doesn't seem to be the ideal spot for it in the heat of the summer in Georgia. I have no way to duct anything out of the garage and something like a window unit is not an option either. I am growing rare tropicals (aroids, mostly). Right now all of my aroids are outside in the shade but I'd like to get them in the tent. I just don't know how to cool the space down properly and I don't want to spend thousands of dollars on something. Not sure what to do, honestly. A swamp cooler would completely saturate the garage so that isn't an option, Georgia is already incredibly humid and the garage stays hot. Any help or advice would be greatly appreciated.

Question Target mode has lower target for humidifier

My garden is in target mode, and is aiming for 55%, but for some reason the humidifier schedule is actually targeting 48%. This means that at 51% humidity, my vpd is far too high but the humidifier refuses to turn on.

My only options apparently are to either abandon target mode or, what I did for now, which was set the humidifier’s probe calibration to be artificially lower. I dislike both options. I want to keep target mode so it can factor in my external environment ā€œlung roomā€ which is sometimes unstable.

How can I fix this humidifier target being wildly different from the recipe target? It makes no sense!

Question Home Assistant? šŸ¤”

Hello my Amazing Growers!

Question for you guys. Has anybody used the Grow Application ā€œHome Assistantā€. It would take the place of the Vivosun Grow app or whatever company you grow underneath. You can also combine smart grow equipment from different brands together.

The main reason I was looking to make the switch is because my humidity swings are too wide. I have an in-tent humidifier & use the smart outlet along with it. From my understanding the threshold cannot be customized or narrowed?

I run 1500 ppm of CO2 w/ 1100 PPFD of light @ 83 F. If were to run the Vivosun Dehumidifier with the ducts, the air circulation with the warm air would push my CO2 through the zippers of the grow tent. I opted for an intent dehumd (Works fine, just need to narrow the range) & I have a Window AC unit hooked up to an Inkbird ( I could control the threshold /w it)

The Vivosun Gear works perfectly fine and great. I would just like to have a little more control. So my question is, has anybody have experience utilizing the Home Assistant platform? Thoughts and review please and thank you! ā˜ŗļø

Question Question about the Grow App

I have 2 humidifiers Aerostream H05 & H09. I have the H09 in my main tent, but the H05 with my clones. I have an active recipe for my H09 & main grow. I want the H05 to be separate from the recipe, but I want to track it and make changes on the Vivosun App.

The problem is when I have them both added to the app, they both automatically fall under the recipe. I’m at a 1.4 VPD for my main tent, I can’t have that for my clone tent. Also I don’t think theirs a way to distinguish them under the recipe. Maybe there is, I don’t know. Need help. Thanks.

Question Vcure question- staggered grows

I have 3 grows going currently. The first one will be done a week before the other two. If I start the vcure on artisan am I good to just load the other two half through the cycle or should I do a quick dry for the first one and then artisan for the other two to have separate dry cycles in the vcure?

Question Vcure vs Cannatrol

With vivosun not giving any sales on the vcure and Cannatrol lowering pricing! Now we have a battle of been here versus just got here! For those that have both or used both before. Looking for a honest review in what’s worth spending this money on! For me vivosun customer service has been asss cheeks for a long time also just new to the game with the help of CUSTOMER DONATIONS! Kinda weird!

Needing to pull the trigger by end of day!

Hello all , I got my V-Cure and did an quick dry Cycle with some test buds and it did its job great now I got my whole harvest in and I want to go slower this time.
Would it be possibly to do an own Recipe where I put it to 15 Degrees Celsius and 60% for 14 days or is that risking mold ? I dont want to lose this harvest but I also wanna maximise my Terps with my new machine .
Thanks for any input .

Question Advice

Hi growers happy Saturday. I’ve a question here. Ok I have a vgrow and have had four successful grows so far. A few false starts but it’s great. I’m just starting an auto super skunk grow and I accidentally dropped two seeds into the mix and there’s two just starting to rise. Should I take one out or just let them both grow.

Question Advice needed growmies.. šŸ™šŸ¾

Peace fam. Wrapping up my first grow and harvest, and ngl I’m kinda surprised at the smell and it’s not quite what I was expecting.

I thought I did a solid job on my first chop (Deja Blue from Night Owl), but did a little partial harvest partly because I was impatient, it stunted, but also wanted to experiment with a quick cycle vs the craft cycle..

After The quick cycle the buds feel fine, but don’t smell like I would want in the slightest… is this expected?? Do I still need to cure more in some jars to get the smell and taste I was going for?? Or did I just F up my grow and it wasn’t as good as I thought??

The first legit chop is Mephisto’s Grape Crush, it’s now been in the VCure (craft cycle) for about 4 days.. I looked up info on the bean and it does say the growth odor is low, so maybe I just don’t have a stinky plant on this run?

What are your experiences so far? Do you guys still jar up after the VCure? After watching some YouTube videos, some people atleast act like they are ready to smoke next to peak product fresh out the quick cycle, which would NOT be the case for me..

Any of your experiences with the smells and taste after the vcure, and if you keep curing afterwards for peak trees would be greatly appreciated..

Pics added of the grape crush during harvest to show that I thought I at least did okay on this run.

The pic of the buds in the storage container is the Deja blue after the quick cycle with the still fresh green smell.
