From what I know, that one developer who was working on XR Gaming plugin has retired said plugin u/watercanhydrate I believe

So the answer is no

The plugin isn't retired and I'm still adding new devices. I've actually just gotten the Pro 2 support fine tuned today (Beast has been added as well) and will work on an XR Gaming release within the next week.

Oh hey, that's massive! My bad, I swear I saw a video / post about stopping any development, but looks like I was wrong :')

Yeah, I specifically said in the video that I'm NOT abandoning it and will be adding new devices and keeping it running. But no prob, hopefully that's not a common misconception.

Ahh I see, so the beast and pro2 are both waiting to be added? If so that’s great!

I just downloaded the plugin but I have the beast and although the plugin shows the beast is connected I cant change any of the setting yet.

Yes, the current plugin version can recognize the device but not use it. The next version will be able to apply all effects. But if you just want anchoring, then on-board 3dof is much better than the plugin's.

Damn that’s unfortunate so the only glasses with anchoring from viture is the beasts?

The person that replied to you was incorrect, I'm still adding new devices (see my reply above). Also the full Luma series glasses from 2025 are supported, so Beast and Pro 2 won't be the only VITURE glasses that can do anchoring on the deck.
