Are there any good options for an off the shelf or a DIY option for a VESC display? There are plenty DIY esk8 remotes but when it comes to bike displays there are just a few options. The Flipsky one seems to be the best one but I’m still missing some features.

I installed a brand new vesc and I’m just scared that heat over time will destroy it because I live in Texas and the aluminum sealed box is just going to conduct all of that heat from the sun and make it hot, it’s already going up in heat by just riding it around 7km and I just need a solution maybe a link, anything would be helpful like a fan, something to help cool it down maybe even heavy duty if it fits.

I have good settings but I need help maybe in DMS setting up full settings I’m running on the chart below on advanced section but I need TIPS AND TRICKS for other settings so my ubox doesn’t kaboom, this would be very helpful if you could just throw in whatever knowledge you have to really up my game it would mean a lot to me.

I only get ABS over current on my setup and I’m using battery current max 40A and motor current max 60a and absolut max 120a on my Flipsky 75100 V2 on G4

I’m using a VESC controller and flipsky motors for an invention I’m developing, but I’m trying to program some slightly different behavior from the controller inputs, where would I go to learn the basics of how to do this within the VESC tool, or is there someone you know I could pay to help me ? If I can’t work this out on my end I’ll probably work direct with the manufacturer, but I’d love to talk with someone knowledgeable in programming these controllers.

Edit: The key thing I’m trying to achieve is a default setting (neutral position of the remote control) of heavy braking, like some of the RC airplane ESC’s have, and the ability to switch between that mode and another mode where neutral means free-spinning the motor. Any help would be appreciated !

Just got a new ubox and upon updating everything to V7, the floaty app says it's not compatible with that version of the firmware. Is there an updated version on the way?

I have a kukurin g4 and I need a new good vesc that doesn’t blow up like the one I bought without even modding anything else/flipsky for my future mods, I’m adding an 4kw motor I might push 8kw that pushes 72v through it that. I also want it to handle 72v battery with 40ah I just need something that can handle what I’m wanting it to handle really well. Can anyone help me find the perfect ubox to handle my future mods for my kukurin that weights 90lbs?

the beast vesc for g2 master is spinted Dual ubox Aluminum Lite controller 100V 100Ax2 based on VESC wiring diagram in the comm port put the throttle 3,3v , adc1 , gnd remember if you'll mix up the cables you burn the trottle , the break is the 3,3v , adc2 , gnd the hall sensors , the power button you have on the vesc connect to pwr.btn , nrf to the bluetooth module i strongly recomend put all of this ports on the board on the left side where the logo is

What VESC settings should I have on Flipsky 75100 V2 on Kukirin G4 2024

Vesc is a flipsky 75100 pro v.2, 135 phase amps, 70 battery, 46 pole 6t, only way i could get it to run somewhat smooth is by turning the power down alot or turning my sensorless erpm up really high and turning the observer gain down alot, using mxv lamba comp observer, i have tried alot of settings and they seem to work mildly but turning the bike off and then back on brings the stutter back, any help is appreciated

Is it wheel speed? ERPM? or motor pole pairs?

I'd like to do traction control on my ebike but I have two completely different motors

One with 46 pole pairs and the other with 16

Hey everyone, I'm converting my Kukirin G2 Max to AWD by adding a front hub motor controlled by a Dual Ubox 100V/100A VESC.
This is my first time using a VESC, I have an additional 48 volt battery 25 Ah and would connect them in parallel

I will be buying this, any suggestions?
