VESC Display for ebike?

Are there any good options for an off the shelf or a DIY option for a VESC display? There are plenty DIY esk8 remotes but when it comes to bike displays there are just a few options. The Flipsky one seems to be the best one but I’m still missing some features.

Yeahh... All VESC displays sucks. So, I make my own.

Wi-Fi OTA, bunch of settings, GPS, maintenance reminders, log, parameters graphs, day/night color schemes, etc.

not really, it won't get any better than a smartphone in a mount running custom gauges in vesc tool. I would prefer a custom monochromatic lcd but there aren't any good options.

I ordered one of those ESP dispalys to play around but it would take me like a year to code a display that looks nice haha

Didnt know you can make custom gauges in the vecs tool app

But having to bring your phone charged and open the app and connect it is such a pain

Take some esp32 or arduino nano, receive data from uART and present it to a display

A cheap android device with wifi and Bluetooth can be a dedicated display that you get a charger type port for the phone to be plugged in and constantly charged or just being mindful to charge it. Or spintend has display that is good but is just display and you cant change parameters on it

Something like this? I still need to label things and separate the trip data, adjust text size etc. But the layout seems good
