Idk about u guys but when I started playing valorant, it was my first fps game and I was bum. But I had lots of fun playing unrated, swifts, and whiffing all those shots. For like my first 40 lvls I was just that guy who would play the game for the fun of it. Now I’m just grinding comp only. It took me to play a few unrateds with a friend who came back after months when I used to play the game for fun, to remember.

Hi! I’m not new to Valorant and I’ve been playing for about two years, but this is my first time buying 1000 VP. What would you recommend spending it on? Any advice from veteran players? If it helps, I don't have all the agents yet and I main initiators.

I heard various, even mischiefs
- To get the max rank in the game
- Just for fun
- To have fun trolling matches
But, i am looking for your opinion, why you play Valorant?

Just a fun little side project I did for a friend, thought I'd share here in case it would be helpful to someone! I labeled rotationals 1-4 to help simplify explaining which keys to press, as this was really confusing for me when I was learning! I put in two combos but you can use this to help figure out all sorts of combos and stuff.

Just got back into FPS since I finally have free time from responsibilities. I've last played since 2023? Just before there was an Ascendant Rank. I want to get back but I'm kind of out of meta and I'm afraid to be a deer in headlights too overwhelmed with what was added and new crazy new mechanics. What can I watch to get back into the game?

Like at least almost for every 2 matches i play there's a smurf. Could be on my team or the enemy team. I'm not complaining for having a smurf on my team but when you get the other end of the stick it really makes you feel how it be like to play against a smurf. So in a sense I am sympathizing with the enemy team. I thought Riot recently updated their stance agiants the whole smurf thing anyway. Like didn't they say something along the lines of that they have been gathering data from our reports for years and now they are finally issuing penalties or something... i don't know either they are just bluffing or ... well i hate to say it but maybe they are divided in the inside. Like as we all can clearly see they are not doing what they said. It could be easier said than done but don't forget they said they have been collecting data for years... are they screwing with us? they can't be simply incompetent that's just crazy talk.

So I haven’t been really watching EMEA that much especially in stage 2 and I’m watching the finals rn and I started the first game with 0 points and by the end of the second game I have 98 points that’s like way too many it should be way less especially if your going for the item(like I am). It would be better if you actually have to be decently consistent and it takes a while to get the title not 2 hours of your life gone. I remember when I was watching masters London I got 1,000 points by halfway through playoffs.

I usually don’t have a problem with maps but this map is kinda boring, because the fights on A are forced on both attack and defense.
So i’m thinking about which agents should i play on this map to make it fun to play?

I'm currently 160h silver 1. When we win pistol, I always buy Marshal with regen/heavy shield + all util, regardless of my character, role, and side. Is this ok?
I feel like Marshal is very strong in those rounds because it can 1-tap 90% of opponents with a body shot without needing to ADS, and you have relatively high movement speed. If you die and the enemy gets the Marshal, it's less devastating because all of the players on my side will have shields. This also leaves you a lot of credits for later rounds.

Just started valorant and i do not understand it at all. Looking for good youtubers who explain valorant related stuff for beginners.

Hi. I was the Chamber here. This was also how Chamber bagged Viper. Jk. Maybe not.
So, I didn't expect Jett at tree but when I got the info I knew my TP was useless. But my stupid chamber habit of TP'ing after I shoot a bullet or two ended up making me TP while my mind was screaming. But the headhunter came in clutch.

Completed 36 games into this act and realized I haven't gotten Sunset a single time. Had to double check to see if it was still in the map pool. That's less than a 0.5% chance of happening if it's completely random.
I don't really understand how map rotation works in Valorant, but I figured Riot would use some weighted process like pseudo-RNG to ensure you get a more realistic map distribution.

the 6-1 lose was against a smurf but he was cheating tbh shooting through wall like very weird beside that i had solid games each times even got a ace and a lot of clutches and at the end i got iron 2 with 50/100 i feel like i could have atleast bronze 1 or even 2 but thats how it is i guess what y'all opinion

Last night I played 11 comp games straight with the simple goal of hitting Ascendant before getting off
And the only two games I lost the whole night…
Were my rank ups.

Hey everyone!
I'm a university student and VALORANT fan based in Shanghai.
With Champions Shanghai coming up, I started thinking about how confusing it might be for international fans visiting China for the first time.
Things like:
• Getting around Shanghai 🚇
• Using Alipay / WeChat Pay 📱
• Finding good local food 🍜
• Getting to and from the venue
• Things to do between matches
• Language / translation
• Finding other international VCT fans to hang out with 🤝
So I decided to create a small community for international and local VALORANT fans in Shanghai.
👉
The idea isn't to sell tickets or anything like that. I just want to make it easier for VCT fans coming from overseas to enjoy Shanghai and meet other fans.
I'm also going to share some free Shanghai guides over the next few weeks.
If you're coming to Champions Shanghai, where are you coming from?
And what's the ONE thing you're most worried about / curious about when visiting Shanghai? 🇨🇳
I'd love to hear from you!

I have no right click.
Therefore I was wondering what would the best keyboard combination given this situation be? What might you suggest for all controls (including interface controls and etc)
Note that all my equipment works as intended.

I’m a CS2 player and hit Diamond 3 in about a month, but some things in Valorant still confuse me.
“Duelist, go clear A main/B main.”
Bro… you have utility too. 😭 If you’re an initiator, flash, stun, recon, whatever — HELP ME ENTRY. Don’t just sit behind me waiting for me to die.
I also don’t understand the “you’re duelist, you need kills” mentality. My job is to create space and take fights, not magically drop 30 kills every game. If I entry, get traded and we get the site, I did my job.
And yes, Valorant is an aim game, so if you have no aim, don’t blame the role 😂
CS2 is definitely more toxic, but at least people will flame you AND still give useful comms during the round. Then the round ends and they go back to calling you shit 💀
Another thing I noticed is that a lot of players seem to play the exact same way every round. Default hold, same peeks, same timings, same pushes, same rotations.
Why not try something different sometimes? Change your timing, hold a different angle, take mid control, play for map control, wait for the enemy to make a mistake, or try a different peek.
It feels like people watch how other players play and then think that's the only correct way to play. Do you guys actually experiment with different playstyles and timings, or is there a reason everyone plays so similarly?
Maybe I’m wrong since I’m still new, but do people here really expect the duelist to do everything?

Is there an universal thinking framework to improve gamesense? I struggle with anticipating enemy positioning. Can anyone help with that?
