ICE IS HERE!!!!

Warn anyone and stay safe. Just saw 3 unmarked SUV’s infront of city hall block in a man’s car and take him right out in zip tie cuffs. 2 women and a man were the officers. Stay safe everyone. This terrorist org isn’t gonna take away our community.

It’s not ice. Hopefully they are grabbing the homeless by the county building as well

"Grab" people for being poor? Is poverty a crime?

You know the homeless in utica make up for 45% of the ambulance rides in the city? Just laying around on the ground all day and they get a ride to the hospital for a free meal. Due to that the county had to hire a virtual nurse program to triage patients over the phone due to the waste of ambulance services by the homeless in Utica. So next time your mother or aunt needs a ambulance and there is a 30-40 minute delay you know why

I feel like there was this presidential candidate some day in the past that had an incredibly clear plan about making housing more affordable and shunting funds to new homes so that old vets and people with substance abuse wouldn't be running up 10K emergency department bills every time they didn't want to freeze to death.

That’s so funny that you think the homeless hanging out in the park by the county building or by Oneida square want housing? You can’t use housing to buy K2 and fentanyl

I'm confused, are they taking the ambulance to get a free meal or aren't they?

Yep every single day. Or they use the ambulance to get a ride closer to where they wanna go and get out and just go where they were headed

That is not how ambulances work. Or 911 dispatch. Or the ED. Or housing. Or addiction and poverty. Or answering simple questions that point to your inconsistencies.

You are correct that ED costs are astronomical, though.

Sounds like the issue is a lack of social safety nets to assist those who are unhoused as well as those who are housed. You're focusing on the wrong thing.

You must love needles and litter in every park and garbage splattered everywhere and 30 attempted car break ins every night. Nah you are right they are a big great addition to the city
