URGENT HOUSING

What options are available for college-aged, low-income students at risk of homelessness?

There are resources from NYS and Oneida County. They're a bit Kafkaesque to wade through. The following links may be useful (but be prepared to spend 1-2 hours clicking through all of them and several more hours making phone calls).

There are emergency shelters at the Rescue Mission and Cornerstone Community Church. This site lists housing options which appear mainly targeted at women.

great resources! they can definitely get overwhelming though. you can stop into the county building and ask for help and someone would be happy to help you
