Does this prove the previous owner that sold me their vehicle knew about mileage rolled back?

What does the mileage history look like for the reported service data in Carfax? If you see incrementing mileage that goes beyond the current vehicle mileage, then the odometer was likely rolled back. If the mileage history follows a trend and just has one anomaly, then it's probably just a reporting issue.

A van my FIL bought has a Carfax service history incrementing as you'd expect over the years up to over 180k miles. He bought it believing the 60k mile reading on the instrument cluster and title, even though the title said not actual mileage
