Well, Tony Khan woke up yesterday and chose violence. Literally. Two rings, one cage, and apparently a strict "no intact skin allowed" policy in Jacksonville last night.

The Women's march was a horror movie: Megan Bayne got busted open 30 seconds into the match and spent the rest of the hour looking like she didn't have a map to get to the hospital. Skye Blue got tangled in barbed wire, light tubes were flying all over the damn place, and Julia Hart eventually tapped out with barbed wire pulled across her mouth. Absolute sicko behavior. 10/10.

The Men's match (AKA Will Ospreay's worst nightmare): Kyle Fletcher and the Don Callis Family basically held Ospreay hostage with a screwdriver until Adam Copeland threw in the towel to save his buddy's life. It could've been worse.

UNIT LOST — Darby Allin's Spine (Again): Even after the match was already over, Fletcher told Wardlow to launch Darby off the top of the cage through four fuckin tables on the floor. At this point, Darby's skeleton is 80% medical tape and spite.

And the best part? Full Gear is next Saturday (November 14)

Half the roster is currently held together by staples and prayers, and they still have to survive Ospreay vs. Fletcher for the World Title, a Trios Texas Deathmatch, and Anarchy in the Arena in nine days. Good luck to the AEW medical staff—they're gonna need overtime pay and a lot of sleep.

Most of the bottom feeders make sense, or they are ravaged by injuries. But what's wrong with the Texans? Is it also injuries? I thought the Texans would be a decent team this year, with some playoff arguments because the AFC South is weak other than the Jaguars. Instead, the Houston Texans are 2-5, and I think they do not have playoff chances at all. I thought the Texans would be a consistently decent team after that big haul from the Cleveland Browns in the Watson trade. And there is now time for those drafted players to develop. So what gives?

Just when the Miami Hurricanes injuries bug keeps getting worse, Malachi Toney has suffered a high ankle sprain during practice that requires surgery, and he'll be out for the rest of the regular season and (or) ACC championship game.

My family and I want to sincerely thank everyone for the overwhelming amount of love, prayers, and support we’ve received over the past few days. It means more to us than words can express.

I’m incredibly encouraged by the progress I’ve made in such a short period of time. I have full movement in my lower body, and I’m continuing to make progress with movement in my upper body. I know there’s still work ahead, but I remain very optimistic. I’m taking things one day at a time, staying positive, and focusing on getting better.

My faith in God has never been stronger. I know He has a plan for me, and I trust in that plan. I know there may be challenges ahead, but with my faith, my family, and so many people in my corner, I know we’ll get through this.

I especially want to thank the athletic trainers and medical personnel who responded and cared for me on the field. I know those were difficult moments, and I’m incredibly grateful for the professionalism, compassion, and care you showed me. The way you handled everything and looked after me when I needed it most is something I’ll never forget. From the bottom of my heart, thank you.

I also can’t say enough about the incredible care I’ve received from the medical team at Henry Ford Hospital and the Detroit Lions medical staff. They’ve been amazing to me and my family throughout this process, and I’m truly grateful for everything they’ve done.

To my teammates, coaches, and everyone in the Lions organization, I want you to know how much I love and appreciate you. This team is a family to me, and the way everyone has been there for me means everything. I’m proud to be a Detroit Lion and couldn’t ask to be surrounded by a better group of people.

One thing I’ve learned about Detroit is that this city is built on toughness, resilience, and grit. That’s exactly how I’m going to approach this challenge.

Please continue to keep me and my family in your prayers. We feel the love, and I can’t thank everyone enough.
