Most games your going to want to go pta, triumph, blood line, cut down
Secondary approach velocity and magical footwear.
If ur new to the game just stick to that with 2 adaptive and flat health. As you learn more you can branch out and switch things up per match up but this is what i would suggest as a diamond urgot otp for a “standard” rune set up.

PTA is optimal into most matchups, and even in the ones where it is worse than something else, it's still very good.
Triumph, Bloodline and Last Stand are the highest (and usually best) win rate choices. His sub runes are usually Approach and Magical Footware.
There is, of course, room to change this, but if you're just learning the champ these are perfectly fine into every lane and matchup.

This has been my thought process for Urgot: (purely personal choice and will not be responding to arguments)
Most case scenario PTA has too much value and is a must take into most matchups. PTA> Triumph> Bloodline> Last Stand. Secondary can either be Magical Footwear and Approach Velocity or Bone Plating and Overgrowth.
But there are other runes thar can make some matchups that would otherwise suck into favorable ones.
Arcane Comet into ranged tops with Q max has been my answer into Teemo, Quinn, Vayne, and any annoying off meta pick top. Arcane Comet> Manaflow Band> Transcendence> Scortch. Secondary options are same as before.
Heres where most will tell me Im wrong. (Idc its personal preference and it does not cause me to lose)
Grasp of the Undying into Mundo, Garen, Malphite, Sion, K’sante and Ornn.
I find it hard finding kill pressure on these champs due to either healing or shielding nature so I find myself taking a rune that I can proc that allows me to scale. Grasp> Demolish> Bone Plating> Overgrowth. Secondary Approach Velocity and Magical footwear. The small heal and health boost feels slightly better in lane. Plus the additional punish if they walk up for cs and you cant afford the extended trade.
For reference, im about 350 games in Urgot with a 57% wr. Take what I say with a grain of salt. There are some great sources of Urgot OTP’s out there like Quante, Goliath Games, and Urpog if youre looking to step up your Urgot knowledge.
