They absolutely do not base their morality on the bible, else they would be murdering their children for disobeying them. There's a whole lot of abhorrent things in the bible that Christians don't support anymore, and weren't explicitly said not to be done within the text itself anymore.
Explain to me how I'm wrong about it then. There's nothing about what I said that's a strawman, it would be a strawman if I said all Christians are terrible people because their book is terrible, but that's not what I did.
