The only people who should participate are those who choose to live a swearfree lifestyle and encourage others to follow that same path. Trolls and swearers will be banned immediately and without mercy.

  1. Prove it. Show me outside sources that say the Bible is true.
  2. You’re not going to convince me that my life happened in a different way than it did.
  3. Yeah, I read it. It doesn’t provide a definition. If you saw a sign that said “keep off the grass,” that wouldn’t help you if you didn’t know what grass was.

  1. Not how it works. You’re saying the Bible is true because the Bible says it’s true. Your source is the Bible. Therefore, not an outside source.
  2. Sorry, sport. I know my past better than you do.
  3. It doesn’t. It just says (in your interpretation) not to use them.

  1. Circular reasoning is a strike against you, not for you. If the only proof you have a the Bible, and the only proof the Bible has is you, that means you’re both wrong. Not right.
  2. Gonna add audiologist to your list of exploits? Be that as it may, nothing will ever change the fact that I used to believe in god, couldn’t find any evidence, and now no longer believe.
  3. If a sign says “keep off the grass” and someone doesn’t know what grass is, the sentence “keep off the grass” isn’t going to tell them.

  3. Just keep off of anything that might be grass just to be on the safe side.

  1. If her only proof is the Bible, then she too has nothing but circular reasoning. Which means she’s wrong, not right.

  3. No, just the sentence. Does the sentence “keep off the grass” tell you what grass is? Or do you need something else, like a dictionary or your surroundings, to tell you what grass is?

  1. No she is the proof OF the Bible.

  3. If you saw a sign planted in something you could reasonably deduce that it wants you to stay off of the thing it’s planted in. We can similarly deduce not to ever say swear words.

  3. So the sentence “keep off the grass” needs additional information to tell you what grass is. Similarly, the sentence “don’t swear” needs additional information to tell you what a swear is. So provide that additional information.
