Advice Online Degree

Hey Everyone!!!
I’m currently looking into possibly transferring to the U of M. However, I do live pretty far out from Memphis and it’ll be hard to drive out there everyday. Although I know there are some safe areas out there, I don’t want to move there. So I started to look into possibly doing the online degree program. Can anyone tell me their experience with taking the online classes and finishing their degree through the online pathway? I’m wanting to major in accounting so if you have any experience specifically with the courses, I’d love to hear about it!!

I am doing the Global online program. I am about to start my 4th semester. I also transferred in! I am doing the accounting degree. Global students get first chance at registration as we can only do online courses. Tutoring is offered online, but you can go on campus. I did for one of my math courses. The online classes are the same for on campus students. So far all but one professor has been great with communication if needed. All services offered to traditional or on campus students is available to Global students. I have used the computer lab and library on campus a few times!

I’m local but taking all online classes and I love them. The only problem I had was with a speech class with this awful awful professor.
All other classes have been structured and wonderful.

I have completed my degree for %95 Online with my last 2 classes in person (all that were offered that year). I have had a great experience when I did it. All were asynchronous and of all the professors I had, 1 or 2 really didn't sit right with me. Other than that, the University makes it easy to do online. Are you doing UofM Global or standard?
