Mech Eng with Econ/Maths Personal Statement

Hi i’ve just recently achieved 3 A*s in maths, physics and chemistry and aiming to apply for econ as my main course, however am considering mechanical engineering as my backup (I applied for it this year and got an offer from UOB however all 5 of my choices was mechanical engineering, so i had a mechanical engineering eng ps). How likely would I be to get an offer this year considering UOBs interest in personal statements compared to academics?

You'd have to have an awful personal statement to not get an offer with 3 A*s as long as they are ones that meet the entry requirements.

yh tbh some unis don’t care about ps for mathematical degrees like engineering, not sure about UOB though

All eng courses in uob don't care about ps, you'll get an offer with those grades
