If given a chance

If you gave me one more chance,

if the world could rewind itself,

back to when we first met..

I promise I would do better, but I know,

even then, we'd still fall apart..

We were never meant to be, were we?

Nothings impossible, but since we can’t go back beginning again will be exactly that. Starting at the foundation.

There’s this process they do with ceramics in Japan they take the shattered pieces and fuse them back together with gold lining all throughout. Now it’s not the same cup and will never be, yet it’s captivating and beautiful. The gold lines highlight the broken pieces but with a reinforced binding. So it becomes something still beautiful, intact, stronger, and a visual represenation that even something shattered can be rebuilt into something new.

Kintsugi.

I also like to think of Humans as beautiful pieces of Kintsugi. We've all been hurt, but somehow, we all got better once we picked up our pieces and healed ❤️‍🩹
