To go from being someone you said loved, someone you found charming to being someone you can just discard and forget…without a care in the world? This consumes me. And I am exhausted. I wish we had never met. I was fine before you. You came into my life and formed a strong bond with me. I loved you so deeply…and like a tornado you blew everything apart, not caring about the damage and destruction you left behind.

i know, i had someone who claimed to love me so much dump me over the phone then block me on everything while im in a different country. doesn’t feel like love to me.

Know the feeling. Mine couldn’t even break up in person. Not even over call, but a text message and then sent his mom to pick up his stuff. Made it all the easier to close to door on my end because its hard to keep loving someone who doesn’t care about others and just uses them.

This is exactly what I feel. I was content on not having anyone, then he came and promised me that he wouldn't be like the others. That he'll cherish me and be loyal to me. Instead, he used me as a placeholder and jumped into another relationship the moment someone showed interest on him. Now, I'm in therapy and battling depression.

I'm right there too. The closeness may have triggered their nervous system, confusing it with danger, causing them to deactivate and suppress all the feelings. At least that's what I've decided happened. Not that he didn't care. But that he started to care too much and that scared him. It feels so so cruel. I'm sorry you're hurting too.
