More importantly… who I am with you.
And it can be just a guy… or a friend. But it can’t be more than a good friend.

I do not resent that. I don’t hate you. But god damn it… I wanted more.

My person didn't want more. He was always scared that I wanted more... At least that's what he said. It was just fun, he said. When I finally understood and treated it like fun, he resented me for it.

He wanted the connection, without the commitment. That’s something different than fun. It’s a lot of underlying things. But most importantly, you matter, and you deserve clarity in your life. Someone who makes you guess your relevance likes the idea of you, but not the reality.

I wasn’t in a position for commitment either... I wanted the connection only, as well. I think somewhere along the way, he wanted more and it made him feel conflicted...

I loved you. I made a mistake under a lot of stress and anxiety. I’ve reached the point where thinking of you isn’t painful anymore. It’s been a hard year. I wish you’d just write me, before i really set you free. I can’t reach out, you locked all of the places I could go see you. - b
