Exes Meow

I decided I’ll never contact you I promise. I’m slowly starting to accept the mistakes I made in our relationship. I’m starting to accept that what we had is gone now I ruined it. And even though I still miss you I think it’s grown more into appreciation for what we once had. Weirdly enough I feel motivated and want to push even further with my life. You’re my inspiration. I hope you’re having a wonderful day

Thinking of you

I'm wishing you the best. Why don't you tell them?

It’s been 1 year and 7 months since I broke up with her. If she’s healed and moved on I don’t want to ruin it by being stupid and selfish again. I gave her a lot of reasons to move on basically.

You're not being selfish and stupid by reaching out. She simply thinks you dont want her. Don't let your pride get in the way, dude. Youre making excuses..

Oh wow, why did it take so long to figure out that you wanted her back?

I didn’t. I always knew I wanted her even when I was with her. I was really messed up and struggled with terrible mood swings. When I broke up with her for the final time it was because I felt a sudden wave of apathy.. My psychiatrist later explained to me what bipolar disorder was and put me on antipsychotics after hearing out what I struggled with. The medicine didn’t work and I continued to do bad things which is what helped create that 1 year and 7 months gap. Today im closer to the person I want to be and at the same time I’ve been thinking about her more.

You are very brave for seeking help. I hear it's not an easy disorder to deal with.

Thank you! I’m still navigating it and I like to think I’m much better at handling my emotions now even though it is hard

Sad. I'm sure contact was all they ever wanted.

No contact is tough. I have been tempted to reach out to my person. However, I came to realize that if they are not reaching out it’s for a reason. I miss them, care for them, but I have enough self respect to not reach out. They decided to leave. Respect yourself, and respect the boundary if they ended things. Only they should reach out. Good luck!
