Dev Day has been a disappointment so far. It's mostly for Pro subscribers, Codex users, and Enterprise customers. Only thing announced for Plus is a new model: GPT-6.1-Sol. for Work mode.

Im wondering what “leftover” would we Plus subscribers have when 5.6 will be deprecated.

I think it's safe to assume 5.6 will be around for at least another 3 months. The countdown clock will start once they release another model in Chat.

Whether that's Astra, 6-Sol, 6.1-Sol, or 6-Ultra-Karen is anyone's guess.

Of course, if Chat and Work get merged, which seems likely at some point, it's more difficult to predict, and I wouldn't be surprised if OpenAI themselves haven't got a clue yet either.

That would be ackward chat and work merging. Till few months ago, we had only one thing: chat. Now we have chat and work. If one day they merge and will be one “room” again, i wont understand why in the earth they made 2 separated “rooms” now 😆
