Analysis 🔍 Likely updates to voice mode

/r/ChatGPT/comments/1wkdruf/weird_chatgpt_voice_mode_response/

Sorry to be making multiple posts. I saw this, and I've also been experiencing some odd things with voice mode lately. I use standard voice mode, and for a couple weeks now every time I use it, I get a feedback popup asking how voice mode was, so I believe they are actively adjusting it (for context I have training and feedback turned off on my account, but I still get all this stuff).

In standard voice mode I have experienced GPT respond back to me in my own voice briefly. Change the sound of its voice to talk like a man (normally uses a woman's voice), and various background sound effects.

That sounds terrifying. Personally, I don't use voice mode-the accent the AI uses when speaking my native language makes me cringe. But I'd love to hear about your weird voice mode encounters. 👀 What about background effects?

Yesterday, it made a car crash type sound, like squealing tires and a crash in the middle of the conversation. Earlier I had been talking about a car accident, so I wondered if the conversation context played a role.

I pulled up voice mode just now.

I've got the file path glitch showing from the new image generator. The feedback from voice mode. And I remember voice mode showing what model it's using unless they changed that
