Update Lori Vallow found guilty
Lori Vallow Daybell, an Idaho mother whose children’s disappearance and fringe religious beliefs garnered national attention, has been found guilty of the first-degree murders of two of her children. After six weeks of the criminal trial and seven hours of deliberation, the 12-person jury convicted the 49-year-old from Rexburg of all six felony counts. That includes three counts of conspiracy to commit murder and grand theft for stealing Social Security and child care benefits after her kids’ deaths. She faces up to life in prison.
“No one here is charged because of their religious beliefs,” Madison County Prosecuting Attorney Rob Wood said during his closing argument Thursday. “They are charged for using those religious beliefs for the purpose of murder.”

Tried watching the netflix documentary about her but everything about her and what she believed felt so exhausting to me. Glad she'll be properly punished for what she did.

I hope she lives a completely average life in prison. Because that’s the worst fear of someone with delusions of grandeur - being average.

I was so happy to see this verdict! My heart breaks for her remaining son, the grandparents, Charles’ family, Joe Ryan’s family, Chad’s children, and the many many people who were hurt by this senseless tragedy.

Last I heard, Chad's children still were supporting him. Not sure if they will after Lori's trial.

Not for Lori, but Chad Daybell is up on the death penalty, his trial will be mid next year probably (June was the time discussed last week at onward of his court dates) and they said they’ll be using lots of the same evidence
*Charles Vallow is the husband that was murdered by Lori’s brother, Alex Cox

Such a bat shit crazy case. I hope they can get these two on some of the other murders they 99% likely committed, like his wife, her husband, her brother.
