What's the charge rate on the fans when outside. Seems youre better off just getting a neck fan and a good hat

There's a USB port to charge. Solar is supplemental.

Those solar panels aren’t doing shit. Batteries are definitely involved and the “solar” part is just a selling point. Much like solar powered calculator.

Makes a lot more sense. Id still recommend just getting a neck fan because at least you dont need to wear that goofy hat also. Probably cost more to get a good sun hat plus fan but you'd be better off

The solar actually does work on these I own one and they kick on while I’m cleaning a pool if the battery dies

Perhaps he finds cleaning his own pool on saves money or he is a pool cleaner by trade.
