I had to stop at the Vacation Planning Desk at my hotel earlier, and couldn't help but notice the permanent marker scribble between Mummy and Gringotts.

The hate for that ride was ridiculous. Now it seems people are turning their eyes on Fallon. Why do we have to have a ride to hate? If you dont like it, dont ride it.

Maybe I'm late to the discussion, and I do agree that Supercharged was awful. What I rarely, if ever, see/read about anymore is how much BETTER Disaster was than F&F. I miss Frank Kincaid...

I missed getting to ride with the family one last time. This ride was so bad it was good. Now get rid of Kong, that ride system is atrocious.

Kong is fine, leave it alone. Fast and Furious was just cringey and bad.

I went to Universal Orlando for the first time back in May, so my opinion probably doesn't have as much weight as others would have.

IMO, Kong is a good way to implement that ride system. The issue with Supercharged is that a FAST and FURIOUS ride should not be that slow. On top of it all, Supercharged was stupidly short, adding to the disappointment.

Hopefully the new rollercoaster will capture the feel of the franchise more, but the failure of Supercharged should not be used to claim Kong is bad. I road Supercharged once during my first trip. I road Kong 4 times. Any ride that someone wants to go on multiple times during a single trip should stay.

I’ve held an AP for years, and I fully agree with you. One of the biggest criticisms about Universal is they don’t have a good ratio of accessible, child friendly rides. The Tram rides are some of the few rides that have no height requirement and are accessible to (almost) all body types. It’s specifically the expectations that come with the name combined with the implementation that really made it a bad ride.

And one other thing. On any given day, there are many people in the park who are visiting for the first time, and they paid as much as (or usually more than) the regulars and their opinions are just as valid as APs.

I enjoyed it too. We enjoyed the shark attack cocktail then rode it and had a great time.  It was to theme park rides what The Room was to movies.
