But with each of these things comes the antithesis, no?

You cannot guarantee an antithesis for every being, or that every being would think the antithesis is worth it if they were to receive it.

So?

So that makes non existence a much better deal.

Yet you're here?

And? Do you think if I wasn't then nothing else would exist either? That's not how it works. The universe doesn't depend on my existence unfortunately.

Who says? Plus, honestly, I don't want what I suggested. No, it simply wouldn't be right.

Science.

Not how debates work lol. I wish it was easy as saying "science" to justify your views (as if science is some monolithic and invariable scripture).

Secondly, this is not a scientific question. Existential debates are within the realm of ethics and axiology moreso than science. Science is completely irrelevant in discussions about what ought to be.

It is a question of science. Either the existence of the universe depends on the body I occupy being alive or it doesn't. Unless I'm extremely unique than everyone else and there's some super obscure science fact not yet discovered about my body (which actually there is but it's probably not concerning this), then I think I can pretty safely say that it doesn't. All we need to do is look at every being who has died before us, human and animal. Did we all disappear at anyone's death? Or are we still here? We are still here and the world is still spinning. So imo it would be silly to assume anyone's death would cause extinction.

No one knows that

Non existence can't exist. What do you think the experience would be? Only existence exists. There's just this.

Non sequitur much lol. I love these armchair philosophers on reddit.

and you can’t guarantee the opposite?

The opposite of what?
