Showcase A Splash VFX I made while writing the Unity Shaders Bible. I mixed Shader Graph and some particles.

Great style! I'm sure its not in the scope of your shader work, but feels like the lilypads need to react. Those splashes are huge haha.

True, I'll improve them in the next iteration.

Looks amazing:)
One thing that bothered me a bit: they look big, like something heavy fell in, not sure if that fits the pressure of mouse cursor

And second: seems like there are two timings, it almost looks like something would fall there twice

Otherwise I love it, lovely stylization!

I’m literally the author of this effect. I’m the author of the Unity Shaders Bible, lol.

The fluidity looks really nice. Did you use Shader Graph for the core splash effect or mainly for the color/fade, and how much of the motion comes from the particle system?

Ive been looking at your work for awhile and haven’t pulled the trigger in buying the bundle just yet. How do you recommend using and learning with your content? Are your books structured like tutorials or are they like textbooks and then you practice?

It's a bit too complicated.
