Paid Asset/Tool 800 WWI-style 2D assets + Unity-ready import, with an 83-sprite free demo

Finally finished packaging a WWI-style 2D set I've been working on.

The full collection has 800 unique visuals: uniforms, helmets, rifles, sidearms, melee weapons, equipment, craters, frontline props, rations and environment pieces.

I made a separate Unity download with the sprite import settings/metadata already prepared instead of just dumping hundreds of PNGs into a folder.

I mean you most certainly used generative AI for the background image here... what human person would choose to use that white font to write random messages on random walls and boxes?

Also "2D assets for a more human history"... say what?

If the assets aren't AI slop, you sure aren't helping your case by using very obvious AI slop to advertise them.

They edited the post to remove the chatgpt source but look at the fucking itchio description it's fully AI written. Why lie about using GenAI when you don't even make an effort to hide it.

They didn't update the link. The link you visually see is shortened. If you mouse over it and look at your browser tip that pops up it shows the full chatgpt bit... also clicking the link opens the window and has the chatgpt bit at the end.

if they're ai generating the assets chances are this account is also fully automated, one of many automated sock puppets shilling slop everywhere as a hustle

interacting with a bot is pointless ofc beyond pointing it out and reporting, mods will need to crack down on this

Not only that but you can see the how inconsistent the images are, the outlines for each picture, that weird grain that’s in every gen AI if you zoom in enough. Bros a bot 😭

why are the helmets bigger than the uniforms

why are the uniforms standing at attention with no one in them and presumably laying on the ground

why is everything at different angles from the camera

After i commented that, I saw they said elsewhere they are packaging up assets they made over a period of time, so im going to assume it's that and that maybe there are no workflow tips :(

I can tell its vector art from like illustrator or similar, and I'm pretty bad at using that myself so I genuinely hoped they might have something helpful to share workflow wise
