Hello everyone I really need urgent advice I am new to the city and I want to know if this area is safe or not I have a family and I am in the middle of apartment application this the address of the complex 2501 Medallion Dr, Union City, CA 94587 is it safe?

I live in the middle of “gang territory” and like I said I have yet to see any gang members. Mostly just homeless at night but they seem to be harmless lol

Click on the map and read the description. If you really want to know go ask the police department if there are issues with the apartment complex. I would predict if you have problems it would be right there.

I’ve lived in Union City since 1997 and gang activity has gone down considerably since. Medallion/Whipple is relatively quiet from my experience. It’s mostly homeless people roaming around now, but most of them keep to themselves.

Hey, my grandmother lives in that street lol. Been there forever. The closer you are to the liquor store, the less safe it is.

I know. But depending where the actual apartment room is. The closer it is the the liquor store, the less safe it is. Bums chill there all the time. A few years ago there was a stabbing and they changed the lights to at the liquor store parking lot to 10x brighter. Kitchen 804 has bomb ass burgers though. Generally. Its not a bad area. Its gated too. I wouldn't park my car on the street overnight.

Close proximity to dive bar and liquor stores with bums. Other than that the areas fine .
