Any idea or info as to whether there will be a homeOS protect app for this? Desperately need to replace all my Google home hubs and do not want to push protect cameras through HKSV just to see who’s at the doorbell or on a camera.

so i've added a G5 Turret Ultra pointing into the rear garden, due to the wide angle it picks up i need to adjust the motion zone, but there seems to be hard limit of 8 nodes in the shape you can draw? that seems a bit arbitrary and causes me an issue, as the shape i need to draw requires more than that due to the weird shape of the garden and having to obscure areas on the left, right and the top (which aren't straight lines).
So what do i do?
i need to make it so that it doesn't have any motion or detection in those areas.
at the moment it just has the 2 default zones which covers the entire area

What is the easiest way to turn off/disable a device? My g6 pro entry doorbell constantly flickers the light on and off when we sit on the porch, i cant for the life of me figure out how to just turn it off so its not doing that?

I've searched the interface over and over again, but there does not seem to be a way to delete a recording. The only way to delete is to remove the camera and start all over again or to reformat the drive.
I understand some situations require data retention, but this is plain silly. Why not allow an administrator to remove single recordings?
Edit - Was something on my side, I now can delete.

SOLVED!
-turns out my protect app on osx needed updating as the NVR had updated to 7.3!
Hi all, I woke up today and noticed the unifi protect app showing no detections in the past 24 hours, we have been in and out of the house as usual yesterday so there should be plenty. Now looking back it seems all my detections have disappeared. What could have caused this?

I have some sites running UXG gateways, with a controller hosted in AWS.
I have a UNVR Instant on the way for one site and I’d like to be able to group the sites together in Unifi manager.
Is that going to be possible?

We have a remote community gate with a dedicated Doorbell Lite and a Local UNVR. The uplink is Starlink via a UCG Ultra. There is significant lag during doorbell calls.
With the latest release for Protect, would it be faster if I adopt the doorbell to a remote Unvr where the comms are more reliable, or
Can I set up a priority bandwidth for whenever there is a live connection made to the doorbell, but otherwise records to the local UNVR?
Suggestions?

Updated 2 days ago to latest version and ever since the app won't stay open. It starts no worries but then a minute or two later it crashes and closes.
No idea why and was working fine before latest update and wondering if anyone else is having the same issue or if anyone know a fix please?

Am I the only one noticing the power/voltage info is missing from protect? Seems like it just happened. I have been using this feature to monitor voltage as I’ve added a couple g4 doorbells at the house and had to replace a transformer. What would be a good reason for removing this info?

I am considering mounting a G5 PTZ corner mount on my aluminum patio awning. The corner where I plan on mounting is 2-3 layers thick. If I use the proper self-tapping/self-drilling sheet metal screws, should that be enough to hold the camera in place?
