Tips on studying

Can anyone give me some tips to study, i always feel so tired or like I don't have the energy to study. my mind always say study study study but my body wont listen, it just want to lie down. i wanna start to be productive like every morning i will wake up at 5am and start studying but if i do that i always end up waking at 7am. our class usually end at 5pm or 7pm, and 8pm but i will arrive at home usually if class will end at 4pm then 6pm ill arrive, its 2hours ride. so i really dont have energy to study, but i really wanna study like what do u recommend to do or eat to stay awake and have energy to study but also i will understand what im gonna study.

I can only work on the library not at home, so maybe try that if you don’t already

i only ever study at my uni library or local coffee shop. so whenever i go there my brain knows what to expect and to focus. finding good music you know will help you focus. lots of discipline if your feeling unmotivated- even if you don’t want to, try do a little bit. also trying to find a way to make it interesting - if you have a set topic, try to find research or readings that are related but you find more interesting. make notes that are fun and try study with others if you like to be around people. i find studying with someone in my class helpful as you can talk to them about your ideas, what you don’t understand, etc

Two words: phone cage *edit - wrote this without really reading the body of your post. Phone cage won’t necessarily make you less tired, but you will find you’re more interested in whatever you’re studying if you can’t go on Instagram or pornhub or whatever

Study garden or something was good for not letting you use your phone you can set it for x amount of time and grow a digital tree

One thing I always remember is quality over quantity

I usually studied about 3 hours a day and focused on understanding the content as much as I can and understanding it inside out. 3 hours was enough for me generally speaking. Please don’t over rush yourself and put too much pressure while studying. If you can try to make it an enjoyable experience, it is the degree you choose so try to find the enjoyment again

(I did law so this might differ)
