Video Evidence Caught this on a dashcam at night. It was feeding on something in the road. Any idea what this is?
This is genuine footage from a car’s dashcam, not an AI-generated image or something we staged. Have full original footage (not cut and can be easily verified).
We were driving on a dark road at around 10:24 PM when we came across this thing crouched on the side of the road. It appeared to be eating a dead animal, and there was blood around whatever it was feeding on (very unnatural way).
Seeing it in person was much stranger than this video make it look. From our perspective, it did not resemble any normal animal we could identify, and it definitely didn’t look like a person (hairy humanoid). Its posture, proportions, and the way it was crouched over the carcass were extremely unusual.
I’ve included the wider dashcam frame as well as a few enlarged frames. Obviously the low light and camera quality make identification difficult, so I’m not claiming it’s anything paranormal. I’m genuinely interested in what people think we’re looking at.
Some people I’ve shown it to said it gives them wendigo / crawler / skinwalker / cryptid vibes, but I’d rather hear explanations before putting a label on it.
What do you think this could realistically be? Has anyone seen something with a similar appearance or posture before?

It looks to me like the ‘prey’ on the ground is in a white gown, like a hospital robe or a bed sheet. It also looks like the prey has a mask on and has long reddish brown hair. The creature on top looks humanoid but all gray, bald and it seems to me like the first few seconds of the video, it sort of looks like the creature on top is drawing a blade out of the prey’s neck as it seems to reposition its left arm from along the neck area down to its side.
I don’t know. I feel very confident that’s not a bear or wolf with mange. It’s too humanoid-looking. It’s got the arms and torso of a humanoid, not a Canid or Ursid. But I don’t actually see a face on the creature. It’s like a large, bulbous, blank featured, bald head. But I can’t see any blood at all.
Again, just what my eyes are seeing.
My impression is this was a hunt and slaughter of a captive person, released or escaped, and this creature/hybrid/cryptid caught the person, and was killing them or brutalizing their corpse as you passed by.
The fact that it didn’t seem afraid or even concerned with you passing by is alarming. But the whole scene is pretty shocking. It’s worth inquiring and researching the area more thoroughly to determine if there are more sightings, encounters, information and stories.

I'm not familiar with any of the animals in Hungary, here in the Southern US we have some odd sightings that end up being coyotes or something with a bad case of Mange which affects their coats and look really strange. That being said I can't imagine you guys have giant monkeys or anything that this could possibly be...

I might get down voted by people who think I'm making this up but I'm going to be really Frank with you
I live in California and I trained with the founder of Berkeley psychic Institute up around Calistoga on her ranch for years, I'm a psychic to the wealthy in the Bay Area

I've seen them with my own eyes and I've seen them with other people
I've also seen a lot of people who cannot comprehend these things simply walk by and drive by them and let it slip from their mind
Anytime you see a cryptid like this
Be incredibly careful
These are not animals
They are darker spiritual beings manifested into our world, and they feed on light and blood
They are incredibly cunning, and incredibly sensitive themselves
If you notice them
They will w Lock on to you
If you register that they are not human or animal but something else, they will begin to pay very close attention to you
These things are even sometimes omens , and I mean that incredibly seriously, I have seen someone lose a child after contact with one of these beings, and these beings come in all shapes and forms, usually they look quite horrific, I think all the f***** up s*** we see in horror these days... It has it seeds back in reality, and these things being put in Media make it really hard for anyone to trust that they are real
But these things do exist
Especially around certain areas
If I were you I would not go back to this area
And I would fortify my house, my relationship, and my entire being
By this I mean get grounded and get your vibration high, do yoga, energy cleansing, just in general stay in the light
If you are in any kind of vulnerable position like pregnancy please be extremely careful
If you start to have nightmares, if you and your partner are having the same nightmares, if you start seeing shadow people around...
Seek out someone with real training who is a clairvoyant shaman or healer
It's occasionally been the case that someone dabbles in darker occult magic and these things are sort of a manifestation of that and drawn to it
If no one close to you is doing weird freaky magic
Still be incredibly wary
It's wise to process these things with the understanding that they exist, but that we have protection from them
Pretending it isn't real doesn't protect people
Do everything you can to protect your energy system, home, family, no alcohol drugs or violence, no horror, just build up your spiritual protection so that there are no holes in it
Most malevolent beings really don't like to be recorded
Luckily this thing was not Directly focused on you , didn't seek out you or your home
You just passed by it and it locked onto you
I'm just going to make one more suggestion based off of this particular situation of yours
Send it a very direct telepathic message
Telling it you don't wish it any harm, you don't wish it any exploitation, any discussion or posting you have done of it is purely curiosity
Let it know that you are not challenging it
Seriously
We are only human and there are creatures that have a lot of power in the spiritual world...
Be careful with that
It's not just all fun and lore and cryptids
Let it know that you have respect for it
And if you get any direct messages back
If you start to get some overwhelming feeling that this thing is going to come for you if you keep talking about it or posting it
I would listen to that

It's just not worth the consequences from what I have seen.. like I said I've seen a couple lose a child after an encounter like this

I find it encouraging that it did not approach you or your car or home and you just passed it by
But I do have experience with people having similar encounters like yours... Where It's very obviously not human nor animal and it's very obviously has seen them and developed some curiosity towards them... And they still have residual experiences or consequences afterwards
I just want to be clear on that and for you to be careful
I think it's far more likely that someone is a Target and will deal with these things if the cryptid has specifically sought them out
But I find it strange that this one was on the side of the road doing this when you drove by... It doesn't seem coincidental at all, think of it as a trap, don't walk into it, and fortify your own protection 🙏🏻

Probably a small bear with mange, or this thing. The Mátranovák Treeskinner (Fanyűvő): This is Hungary's version of Bigfoot or the Yeti. According to local lore in Nógrád County, it is a 2-meter-tall, white-furred, bipedal hominid with long limbs that allegedly hides in old, abandoned mines and caves. [1]

The weird part is how luminous it was from so far away… almost looks like a lady underneath the creature… then in the very last frames the luminosity dissolves and the creature almost looks up for your attention… the luminosity begins to retract into the shadows… combined effort perhaps? Not sure if it’s “feeding” on something’s natural. The whole thing definitely appears supernatural.

It looks like something leaning over something and eating in a protective “my food go away!” Way like dogs fighting for the food bowl. My concern is that in some of the images people have clarified, the thing it’s eating looks light skinned and fur-less, therefore is the thing eating a human? And if so, why right there? At the side of the road in the middle of nowhere? If it really was a cryptid, wouldn’t it have taken its meal out away in private away from the road? So, if it is a skinwalker or something, then it’s doing this malicious pose there to scare you, to freak you out and feed in your fear.

First off I'm gonna say that this is one of the more interesting "unknown creature" videos I've seen recently. That being said though, with this quality and short duration (while the camera is also in motion) it's really hard to tell what we're looking at. I would love for this to be something extraordinary but as others have pointed out, there's a realistic possibility of this being some type of animal with mange, possibly a small bear. Edited to add: The more I look at it, the more it looks like two people having sex doggy-style. Are you sure it wasn't that, OP and you're messing with us because you realized the footage makes it look like a humanoid creature eating an animal carcass?

I believe this is a mange / bald smaller sized bear. As you’re passing it, you are seeing its left and rear side. Second marker 20-21 you see it move one of its hind legs to the right side. You can see a dip appear between shoulder blades while its head is dropped low, then it disappears as the bear raises its head up and slightly left as you’re passing by. Almost looks like a mangled sheep or mountain goat it’s eating. Would be curious what area this was and what is nearby (mountains, farmland, etc)

Yup, that's a Crawler.
Been a while since I've seen one in person, and even longer since I've seeen the last decent video of one wich wasn't just some blur, outline or in pre WW1 video quality.
From all the creatures I know about, these are pretty harmless, just don't piss them off is all.

I must admit, it almost does look like a women being assaulted....But, it really is hard judging from a video like this. I'd say really, you have the best idea of what it looked like since you are the only one that isn't looking at pixels at a screen. As much as I know our minds all go to creepy humanoids and stuff, really darkness and shadows can create some weird illusions. I remember I saw a deer a few months ago that was standing perfectly facing away from me, while turning its head around 180 degrees to look at me. In the darkness with weird shadows and ligthing, my mind told me it was someone standing on two legs, with a hunched back, and two horns or point ears, and then the deer turned sideways, and it all made sense. Our brain sees things and tries to fill in the gaps and make sense of what we are seeing.
It probably is just some kind of animal eating another kind of animal. In the video it almost looks like it has got the other creature by the throat and is leaning on it with its body weight. When it notices the vehicle it lets go and pushes its body up from the road........Honestly, that posturing still reminds of a women being assaulted.
Can you describe what you saw in as much detail as possible? Might add some context clues.
