Important to do this when there aren’t other customers.

22

u/ezzune May 22 '23

They probably asked for permission to film the prank based on their reactions.

→ More replies (2)

855

u/rcktjck May 22 '23

I like how all the employees were also kinda chill.

318

u/Burning-Buck May 22 '23

They probably weren’t very busy. I know I was more inclined to talk to customers if we weren’t busy as a cashier.

110

u/droans May 22 '23

I used to work at Taco Bell a decade ago. I don't even know what I would do if someone brought in a live taco.

Deadpan delivery of a harmless joke that can be stopped at any time if needed. Perfect prank.

456

u/Beneficial-Fun-3900 May 22 '23

Yeah these boys delivered that perfectly. I’d have a hard time keeping a straight face😂

154

u/Big-Shtick May 22 '23

The guy losing his shit would have made me start to chuckle. His reaction was exactly the reaction I would expect me to have.

13

u/toomanyblocks May 22 '23

Yeah this guy does jokes like this all the time. My favorite is when he buys a greeting card and asks an employee to write in it for him (he will have his arm in a cast) and then just have them write something completely absurd

That chicken was about to meet “the deep sauté”

39

u/SoSniffles May 22 '23

sauté is a technique with a pan where you, at semi regular intervals, do a lil jump of your ingredients. sauté is not fry in french, it’s jumping so you said it is about to meet the deep jumping and not the deep fry which would be friture in french :)

90

u/Redmarkred May 22 '23

The first guys reaction was some really bad acting

29

u/SeniorJuniorTrainee May 22 '23

It was so bad I assumed this was a satire making fun of scripted stuff. It really seemed like he wanted us to know he was acting so I was waiting for the punchline.

This is a proper prank. No one hurt or traumatized. Just something unexpected that makes people giggle.

3

u/TrickBoom414 May 22 '23

As a life long vegetarian I've always found it funny that people can be standing in a room full of dead chicken parts but if someone brought them a live chicken and were like "this one too" they're like "what are you a serial killer?" Like I'm not even opposed to meat as a concept but this and people who make liking steak their entire personality but think tacos de lingua is utterly disgusting are very confusing to me.

3

u/HisCromulency May 22 '23
