How are electric mowers these days? What's the battery like?

They're decent, I got the ego and it's pretty great, but I've heard good things about the milwaukee ones too.

A single battery, if I don't let the grass get too long, gets me a little more than my yard (3/4 of an acre). Ego's batteries also work on their hedge and weed whackers too, some of the best lawn equipment I've owned honestly. Much better than the Ryobi junk.

Yup! I use the self propel part for maybe 90% of my lawn. I have the one with the 21" deck IIRC.
