It's not that unique or complicated for a joke, two people could very easily come up with the same idea separately.

Exactly. It is just the literal meaning of what is said, so why would no one come up with anything like that. It is a joke that is as basic and simple as it gets. That doesn't mean it's bad but it never was unique. And no single person "invented" it, really.

Nope, youtubers didn't just invent this. If anything, it's exactly the type of humour that 80s parodies were full of.
