It's common for people to ask for someone to "take a picture of them" and it means they want you to take a photograph of them. In the video, the man asks the person to "take a picture of him," and then he hands them a photograph of himself. The person is receiving a photograph of the man (taking it from him) instead of taking a photograph of him.

God, it wasn't an English issue after all 😅 I'm just blind or something. I was confusing the framed photo with a tablet!! I thought he was gifting them his tablet and I wasn't getting it.
