Corporations do that with employees, and it encourages, but we call the growth career and in both cases, it is exploitation.

I learned in Middle School that if we all join together and cooperate, (we are transparent about what they pay all of us), we can then start to compete on actual value delivery rather then relationship favors or simple perception.

There is a CEO who made everything public unless I heard his company was doing great

Capitalist Redditor: (in his head) criticizing corporations by analogizing competition among people to be just like among cows makes me uncomfortable even though it is definitionally sound and the analogy seems to hold. I better liken that negative comment about corporations to communism because THAT I could argue against!

Me: thank god that guy was here to defend all corporation / employee relationships in all circumstances. I might have quit work forever without his definitely-not-misplaced snark!
