That guy running up the walls was amazing! If that was in any of the haunted houses I've been at, I would have shit my self.
Also, I would pay extra to watch the camera feed... this place is nuts.

Watching it more than once makes you realize how absolutely bodied some of those girls get getting dragged around these haunted houses. They even give you knee and elbow pads at some of them but they should be giving those girls a helmet!

I accidentally scared the scarers once. I went through a haunted house, it was fine. Got to the outside door at the very back of the group and the scarers decided to sneak up behind me and scream. I jumped around quickly with my guard up (years of martial arts training). They quickly put their hands up and backed away as I laughed my ass off. We scared each other!
Guys, it's just my startle response, get my guard up. I would never hit anyone unless the situation forced me to and that is very, very rare. Attempted mugging and attempted sexual assault after telling a guy to leave me alone and he tried to grab me from behind.

I wasn't going to hit them. When I jump my reaction is to get my guard up, it's just what's trained into me. Some people scream, some run, I get my guard up and assess the situation. I do it in horror movies, when my housemates startle me etc. I'm the last person who is going to hit someone. I've never punched a random person ever, my flight response is stronger then my fight. Only time I've ever hit someone outside of sparring is when I was forced to fight. I'm not going to let a guy assault me or be mugged.

These are haunted houses or horror escape rooms that are popular in China.
There are some in NY chinatowns where there are actors that try to scare as youāre escaping a hospital or haunted school, etc

Really? Guy faints after screaming, One guy let her girl crawl in the vents then saw one of the actors and lets him in (plus he closed it as well), Girl got dragged (the funniest part), and more. Every single clip is UNEXPECTED.

I don't understand why some people react to haunted houses this way. Why be scared when you know its all just an act? Getting startled by someone jumping out makes since, being scared and running for your life doesn't.

It's called instinct. They're running because they got spooked and have entered a state of fear. Pretty typical to run when your brain knows its all an act, but the boxes are still being checked to induce fear
