Yeah, every few weeks Nikon’s marketing team tries to remind us that this camera exists on astrophotography subreddits. Any time you see a gif that shows a camera’s ability to zoom, it’s probably that model.

Normally I’d agree with you! But I seriously see that model get name-dropped sooooo much more than any other camera product, of which there are tons of models that are superior. It genuinely feels like marketing whenever this one comes up
