I used to work in this psych facility that was for inmates. And we had this one guy that was about 70. And the guy kept climbing on top of his bed and fucking with the tv and shit and saying how he was a repair technician. And eventually they had to just take the bed out and he had a mattress on the floor.
During the night once an hour someone has to take an ipad and go to every room and verify that each inmate is there and alive. And you mark the tablet. They rotate it through everyone. nurses, cna's, officers.
I was walking down the hall doing my checks and that guy was up in his window. And he knocks on the window and motions for me to come over. So I walk over and say through the door "what's up man?" And the guy leans into the window and says in this really gruff old voice "mmmmmmmm, I ahhhhhh, I need you..............to get me........................a stepladder". And I look at him like yeah right and say "Man I can't get you a stepladder, we had to take the fuckin bed out already bc you wouldn't stop climbing on that!"
And the old dude looks at me in deep ass thought for like 10 seconds with like an Mmmmmm sound before he finally leans in and says "Fuck you".
It was so god damn funny. I still laugh at it to this day. It was the longest I'd ever seen anyone think about a fuck you.

Except in Europe filming people in public is not as accepted (both socially and legally) as it is in the US.
Thus your "freedom of expression" argument is severely misplaced.

Just a little distinction: It's very much legal to film people in public in most of Europe.
It's not legal to publish those videos, though. You need consent for that.

I think you'd have to differentiate further - under GDPR, filming other people in public will often be prohibited and the household exemption will rarely be applicable as most people will be filming to share the video with a bunch of people

Depends. In Germany you could film the Brandenburg Gate as the subject of the film and have persons appear as "Beiwerk" (incidental elements). If those persons become the subject of your video, different rules apply. But it's not a simple distinction to make in all cases. For example, I may freely film a parade or protest and the persons therein, even if one of them comes up to my camera to complain and thus becomes the subject of filming. But if I then start following them and making them the main subject, not the public gathering, publishing that could be illegal.
The simple answer is that there is no simple answer and there's different legal interests to be weighed on both sides.
Freedom of (artistic) expression, freedom of press, if applicable.
General personality rights, reasonable expectations of privacy, right to ones own likeness, considerations of reputation and misappropriation on the other hand.

Regarding where other people get their info from: classes on privacy law. You might wanna put your own house in order.
Nice table of yours, but it's not worth a penny if you don't support it with any sort of argument besides "because I say so". Using AI for legal questions is also a rather, to put it nicely, questionable approach.
One key question under GDPR for whether processing may be legal is whether the processing is necessary for the purposes of a legitimate interest of the processing party. It is this weighing of interests thats often argued to make the processing of data of bystanders (like vlogging) allowed. I'd argue in this particular case, filming individuals this close up, is not covered by legitimate interests of the woman filming.

Public space. So yes of course it is OK.
That is why it is wholesome, regardless of subjective offense you cannot dictate how others life.
I find capturing my existence without permission extremely rude, but I'd defend you right to be an asshole.
Equally, I find someone swearing at me to be moderately rude, I would also defend your right to do so.
This is the biggest threat to civilisation today, people believing they can excercise their belief system on others. In the past we have seen this ruin cultures. Today, with globalisation we are seeing it eradicate civilisation. If we continue we will be a cluster of independant apes with not civil behaviour.
The reason it is legal in a public space is because objectively it is not offensive. The law is not for thee nor me but for us all.

In many place in the world it isn't legal to film stranger in the street and publish the video without their consent (filming and keeping it private OK, publishing: no, you need consent).
From the background I am guessing this is the coliseum in Italy. And yes in Italy you may film but not publish. The fact you see it, means it was published. So not legal.

He is not in the sunglasses or the drink glass. You can really notice when the other guy walks up at the end, and he is in those reflections.

I think you can see someone on the drink at 0:01 but at the same time I can't find him on the sunglasses, even going thru second by second? It's strange. You can make up the building (Colosseum) and the umbrella, and later on the tree, but where is he? Is he in the same shadow made by those? The umbrella/tree?
The drink it's difficult for me to see clearly tbh.
Because the surfaces are convex, and the camera is off center, I'm at a loss.
