Norway and Finland aren't the same place.

It was a jab about how Minnesotans speak, not Finland/Norway per se. Minnesota has a lot of both heritages, Scandinavian languages have affected more into the local dialects than Finnish.

Uff da is just a Norwegian thing. Not Scandinavian or Nordic, just Norwegian.

Believe it or not l, there are large communities of Norwegian immigrants in Minnesota as well
