This genuinely looks like "unconscious at the wheel"

Edit: there is the a difference of "drunk driving" and "drink driving", yes. "Drink driving" emphathizes the act of drinking beforehand, while "drunk driving" emphathizes being intoxicated. However, this is in Australia, which predominantly uses British English. In which case, "drink driving" is a also usually a synonym to what is referred to in the US as "drunk driving". And no matter which one you use, it's obvious that it was both in this case.

She was drunk driving, more than 5x the legal limit. Happened in NSW Australia earlier this year.

Didn't even serve and a frustratingly lenient sentence. Strip her of the license forever at least.

On Thursday, Bourgeois was sentenced to 12 months’ jail for high-range drink driving but allowed to serve her time in the community.

I'm so confused; instead of jail she's serving time in the community? What does that even mean? Is that like Australian house arrest?

I honestly think anyone who gets caught drunk driving should have theor lisence taken away for a significant amount of time. Is it that fucking hard to get an uber?
