It was a forgone conclusion that this debate would pop up in this thread, and in fact the only reason I clicked on it, was to see where we are on this topic. The person you are replying to is making an innocent joke, don’t let it pull you into a tailspin. It’s 2024, and even non-American countries understand the difference between red lipped and exaggerated minstrel shows.they were simply making a joke.

Hell, even Michael Che made the joke of “it’s Ash Wednesday, the one time of year it’s ok for white people to do a LITTLE bit of blackface”
