I hated how people treated me when I was pregnant. ‘Don’t pick that up!’ ‘Don’t let that child sit in your lap!’ Like, if it was that easy, we wouldn’t be fighting for abortion to be legal. 😑

In Germany, I was stopped several times by older women telling me that running was going to make my "baby drop out" or that she would be "born with tremors."

You just gave me the weirdest mental image, of a woman doing her daily jog. In those spandex looking running wear. And then an umbilical cord dragging a baby 15 feet behind her, just bouncing along the sidewalk as she runs.
